ABT doesn't rest: the modified Audi RS4 from the German tuner arrives
The Audi RS4 has been through ABT’s hands. This time, the German tuner has managed to extract 510 CV and 680 Nm of torque from the V6 TFSI that powers the Audi.

The pace of activity within the tuning industry is directly proportional to the number of vehicles the brands release, and ABT doesn’t want to rest. The German company is famous for working with models from the VAG group, especially those belonging to Audi. A few weeks ago, ABT announced the arrival of the RS5-R and today they have presented the modifications available for the RS4 Avant, a vehicle that shares many elements with the A5.
The latest-generation Audi RS4 has been on the brand’s production lines for a relatively short time, but ABT didn’t want to lose a single second and got straight to work. As is usual, the German estate receives not only mechanical changes but also aesthetic ones, which give the vehicle a greater presence. Without a doubt, the RS4 stands out as one of the most attractive models in the brand’s lineup, but ABT has known how to improve on this.
It was 19 years ago when the first Audi RS4 appeared and, today, the fourth generation features a series of changes in all very important aspects. Saloons, or estates in this case, that are sporty offer a level of versatility that considerably increases one’s love for them. The RS4 lets the whole family enjoy a pleasant weekend and, at the same time, offers the possibility of hitting the track and enjoying it as if it were a supercar.

As standard, we find a 2.9-litre V6 TFSI engine that is also used in other models from the brand, such as the RS5. It is capable of producing 450 CV of power and 600 Nm of torque but, after passing through ABT’s hands, those figures have been considerably increased. After a series of modifications to the ECU and the exhaust system, the RS4 is capable of producing 510 CV and 680 Nm of torque, figures more than enough to put high-flying supercars under pressure.
On the other hand, the suspension has been replaced with the intention of giving the RS4 even more stability and better cornering. It also makes the power delivery more controlled and, at the same time, ABT offers anti-roll bars to improve the handling of the German sports car. Aesthetically there are no major changes, except for a set of twenty-inch wheels signed by the tuner.

Without a doubt, the RS4 becomes an even more special vehicle after passing through ABT’s hands, but the German saloon is not the only surprise the company has in store. CEO Hans-Jürgen has confirmed that at the Geneva Motor Show we will be able to witness a new preparation, which means the RS4 and the RS5-R will not be the only ones present there.
