A110 Alpine Coupés Sports Cars
Alpine A110 Première Édition in Spain for €61,500 and all units already reserved
The Alpine A110 will initially arrive in the limited launch edition Première Édition; new trims and equipment will be added later on

The Alpine A110 has been “among us” for quite some time. In fact, we first heard about it in 2016, when it was still a project not yet in production and was called RenaultAlpine Vision. Later, specifically during our attendance at the last Geneva Motor Show, we saw it in all its splendour, and it was confirmed that it would go into production as the A110 Première Édition at first, with more trim levels to follow.
Well, here it is. The Alpine A110 Première Édition will soon be a reality for its future owners, upon payment of the €61,500 it will cost in Spain. But is it really a car that deserves that price? Naturally, each of us has our own opinion, and there will be those for and against. But if we could ask, the best answers would come from the 1,955 owners who have already reserved one. And perhaps the majority will say yes, it really is worth it, since 1,955 is the number of units that will be built of this limited launch edition, Première Édition, and they are already all sold out. In fact, the reservations ran out just 5 days after the window opened.

These people may have made a mistake, depending on who you ask, but what we are very clear about is that all of them will have an extremely good time with their new toy. The Alpine A110 counts among its strengths its powerful 4-cylinder 1,800 cc engine, with intake, exhaust and turbo specifically prepared by Alpine’s engineers. This engine delivers 252 CV of power and maximum torque of 320 Nm from 2,000 rpm, reaching 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds, and it also homologates an excellent combined consumption of 6.1 l/100 km.
Much of the credit for these acceleration and consumption figures goes to its weight, which, kerb weight, is 1,080 kg, making the A110 agile in demanding driving. But these outstanding figures also owe much to its carefully engineered aerodynamics, which allow it to do without a rear wing, achieved thanks to its design together with the flat underbody and fully functional rear diffuser.

Each Alpine A110 Première Édition can be chosen in three different colours: Alpine Blue, Deep Black or Pearl Solar White. Inside, we have everything needed to use the car day to day, though without great luxuries, because what really matters in this car is its racing essence. Even so, we can enjoy our music thanks to the Focal sound system, and it comes with climate control, satellite navigation and cruise control. We will also have the three driving modes, Normal, Sport and Track, as well as the Alpine Telematics system, which lets us record lap times on track and store the results. All of this is topped off with an interior in leather, carbon fibre, brushed aluminium and bucket seats signed by Sabelt.
Now all that remains is to see and admire one of these units on the road and, if you are one of the lucky first owners, enjoy it.
