Citroën My Ami Cargo, now on sale: the professional version of the small French electric car
The Citroën Ami gains a new member with the My Ami Cargo, a version aimed at delivery professionals and ideal for small deliveries

The Citroën Ami arrived to revolutionise new forms of urban mobility thanks to its simple features, compact size ideal for getting around the city and an electric motor more than sufficient for moving through cities, something we were able to verify a few months ago when we got to try it first-hand. But the Ami’s revolution continues, this time with a clear focus on professionals.
The Citroën Ami family grows with one more new member, the so-called Citroën My Ami Cargo, a version of this light quadricycle aimed at delivery professionals. It keeps the same characteristics and simplicity as the standard version but with a well-designed cargo area for making deliveries in a simple and quick way.

From the outside, the Citroën My Ami Cargo gives no sign that it is this version; everything looks the same, since, as you can imagine, the changes are focused on the interior. There we find an optimised, modular space, capable of offering a useful volume of 400 litres and a payload of 140 kilograms, something the designers and engineers of the French brand have achieved by removing the passenger seat.
Where the driver’s seat would be, a partition has been installed to separate it from the driving position, protecting the driver in case the load shifts. Attached to it is a modular upper shelf that can support up to 40 kg and slide towards the driver for easy access to the cargo area. It also includes spaces for A4 documents or even a tablet, as well as a lip to keep them from moving. It is worth noting that the interior of this area offers a cargo volume of 260 litres.

As you know, the Citroën Ami is very spartan and minimalist inside, with none of the storage spaces found in a conventional car. For this My Ami Cargo version, therefore, an separate compartment has been provided at the rear, where small items such as a smartphone, keys or sunglasses can be stored and hidden from prying eyes with complete security.
Mechanically, the Citroën My Ami Cargo keeps the small 6 kW electric motor (8.2 CV), which allows it to reach 100 km/h in 10 seconds, although its top speed is limited to 45 km/h. This electric system works together with a 5.5 kWh battery located under the seat, which provides a claimed range of 70 km and which, once depleted, can be recharged from a domestic socket in three hours to reach full charge.
The new Citroën My Ami Cargo is now available in the Spanish market, priced at 7,600 euros, which already includes taxes, transport and the manufacturer’s offer.
