The Most Anticipated Electric Cars of 2019
Car manufacturers are preparing a good number of electric car launches for the coming months, and these are some of those models.

The market for 100% electric vehicles is growing more and more. The number of brands that dare to take a step forward and present models of this kind is increasing all the time, and it won’t be long before we see many electric models in dealerships. Let’s review the most anticipated electric cars, which will arrive in just a few months and will change the automotive industry for the better. Let’s see which 100% electric models are coming.
Mini eléctrico
Mini is one of the most sought-after brands among those who want to enjoy more urban driving. So it is no surprise that it is also entering the race to offer a purely electric model. The Mini E 2020 will be presented on July 9th and will surely be one of the most popular models, since the Mini already are by themselves. Little is known about this model, which will be ready for marketing soon and will have a lot to say in this increasingly interesting market.
Honda e

With a name that leaves no doubt about the type of energy that will power this model, Honda plans to launch the Honda e, its small electric car designed for urban mobility. A good way to avoid traffic restrictions in large cities while keeping the aesthetics of the Japanese brand. For a while we have watched it evolve from its early stages as a concept car to the latest version, which is the definitive one. It will go on sale in 2020, but it has already received just over 25,000 orders, which guarantees a fairly interesting starting point.
Peugeot e-208

The Peugeot e-208 is the French brand’s proposal for 100% electric mobility. It is the model that opens the Motion & e-Motion range and aims to be an efficient alternative in the shape of the popular city car. The price of this model starts at 29,850 euros, and the top of the range sells for 34,800 euros. It is not a cheap car, but it will be in line with what other similar models offer. It will be available throughout 2019 and will be one of the models that begin to position themselves in the tough 100% electric car market.
Volkswagen ID.3

Volkswagen is ahead of other brands when it comes to electrifying its range, and proof of this is the Volkswagen ID.3, which was a sales success months before it went on sale. The Volkswagen ID.3 has a look that recalls two classics of the brand, the Beetle and the Golf, which were taken as sources of inspiration for its design. It will offer three levels of range, so each buyer can choose the range level they need. In addition, the first 30,000 buyers will be able to get a special edition, called ID.3 1ST. After that figure, the standard version will arrive, which will set the trend for the rest of the range.
SEAT Mii Electric

The SEAT el-Born was presented as the most anticipated electric car from the Spanish brand, but before that model arrives, the SEAT Mii Electric will arrive first. This model has never been a very popular car, but the company hopes the electric version will become a good option for urban electric driving. It will arrive before the end of 2019 and will be one of the big stars of the urban environment, thanks to its price, within reach of everyone who wants to drive an electric car.
Renault ZOE

The Renault ZOE is one of the most popular electric cars. It has been on the market for several years, and Renault aims to give it new life by improving its range to nearly 400 kilometres. The instrumentation is located on a 10-inch screen and also features a 9.3-inch multimedia screen for the infotainment system controls. Its exterior look has also been updated, with LED lights at the rear, so it is far more current and modern.
Opel Corsa-e

Another of the electric cars arriving soon is the Opel Corsa-e, an updated version with an electric drivetrain that improves the performance of this city car. Its styling is updated, as with the rest of the range, although the differences from the other variants are emphasised by its own characteristics. The electric motor will take it from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.1 seconds, thanks to a power output equivalent to 136 CV and a maximum torque of 260 Nm. Range will be 330 km, and charging to 80% capacity will take just 30 minutes.
