Dacia Duster Fiskal, the Duster for work and for fun

Dacia is a well-known brand in our country. Good cars at affordable prices and with the backing of Renault, the brand’s owner. Within its increasingly well-known range we find the models grouped under the name Fiskal, which offer a variant of its popular models for commercial use. That is, a version for work with a Sandero, a Logan and also a Duster.

This second generation of the Dacia Duster will also come with a Fiskal version, so the brand’s long-awaited SUV from Romania will also be available in this commercial version. And that is good news, because the model has load capacities that make it a fairly versatile commercial vehicle, with all the features the car is known for.

Aesthetically, there are no differences between the traditional Dacia Duster and the Dacia Duster Fiskal. It is the same vehicle, although the rear windows have been removed. The rear doors and the tailgate are kept, however. Inside we find an open rear area, without seats or fittings, ready to take loads of up to 1.63 metres in length.

The cargo space capacity rises to 1,636 litres in the front-wheel-drive version and 1,604 litres in the all-wheel-drive version, enough capacity to do the job. Between the cargo area and the driving area a partition has been fitted to improve safety and prevent injuries to the occupants of the front seats.

As for engines and technology equipment, this Dacia Duster Fiskal has all the model’s features, from the choice between front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive to all the available engine variants. It is thus a Dacia Duster ready for work as well as for leisure. Of course, it only has two seats and a large cargo area.

It is not yet known in which markets it will be available, although it is known that in Austria it costs 1,730 euros more than the conventional Duster, so it is not a very expensive commercial vehicle. Let us hope that it finally reaches the Spanish market and that we can enjoy it on our roads and in our cities.
