DS and the Louvre Museum collaborate to transform the DS 7 Crossback into a work of art on wheels
The DS 7 Crossback Louvre is an exclusive limited edition that pays tribute to the most visited museum in the world and brings us closer to the works displayed there

When the Royal Palace of the Louvre was opened to the public in 1793, now known worldwide as the Louvre Museum, it set a precedent for other museums by being the first to transfer private collections of the upper classes into public galleries that anyone can enjoy. Its works on display are admired and visited by thousands of people throughout the year, but now we will also be able to enjoy them in an unprecedented way in a vehicle.
DS Automobiles and the Louvre Museum have joined forces to create a work of art on wheels, this time using the DS 7 Crossback as the model, which adds the Louvre name for this limited edition, a limited edition of which only 50 units will reach Spain and which features unique and special details, as we will see below.

As you can imagine, the DS 7 Crossback Louvre features special motifs referencing the Louvre Museum and the works found there. One of the museum’s signature elements is found on the exterior, in the centre of the Cour Napoléon, where the pyramid designed by architect Ieoh Ming Pei stands and which, through laser engraving, is now present on the housings of the DS 7 Crossback Louvre’s wing mirrors. But it will not be the only place where we find it, as thanks to 3D printing we will also find it in the interior air vents, the dashboard and the exclusive Nappa leather embossing on the lid of the central glovebox.
Returning to the exterior of the DS 7 Crossback Louvre, several elements are now painted in gloss black, such as the DS Wings, the window frames, the roof bars and the rear light cluster mouldings. The final touch on the exterior comes from the 20-inch alloy wheels in the “Alexandria” design and the “Louvre” logos on the bonnet, tailgate and front doors.

Inside, in addition to what was mentioned above, it is worth highlighting the use of Nappa leather in Basalt Black finish, using the DS upholstery known as Bracelet. But without a doubt the most curious and exclusive detail of the DS 7 Crossback Louvre is found when the 12-inch screen of its infotainment system lights up, since through it you can enjoy and discover the 182 most emblematic works of the Louvre, explained through a four-minute podcast available in several languages, including Spanish.
Besides this, the DS 7 Crossback Louvre stands out for its extensive standard equipment, which includes features such as:
- DS Connected Pilot
- DS Active Scan Suspension
- DS Active LED Vision
- Extended traffic sign recognition
- Blind spot monitoring system
- Camera-based driver attention alert
- Lane departure warning
- Heated front seats with massage function
- Heated windscreen

Mechanically, the DS 7 Crossback Louvre uses the E-Tense 4×4 hybrid powertrain, consisting of a 200 CV petrol engine together with two 100 CV electric motors, resulting in a combined system output of 300 CV and a torque of 450 Nm. Working alongside them is a 13.2 kWh lithium-ion battery, with which it can cover up to 58 km in fully electric mode according to the WLTP test cycle.
The DS 7 Crossback Louvre is now available in Spain, with a price of 64,850 euros.
