From building chassis to building supercars: this is the Dallara Stradale
Dallara, the famous chassis company, has just unveiled its first sports car, the Dallara Stradale. Weighing just 855 kg and producing 400 CV, it promises to be the fastest.

Many motorsport companies that build sports cars rely on secondary firms to manufacture certain parts. This is the case of Dallara, an Italian company that has been building chassis since 1972. They have been responsible for manufacturing chassis for both supercars and Formula 1. But the company wanted to go one step further by building what is known as the Dallara Stradale, the brand’s first vehicle.
The Italian firm has made a huge leap, moving from producing top-quality chassis – a task it will continue to carry out – to creating its own supercar. It is a “barchetta”-style vehicle designed to conquer circuits around the world. Its concept is very reminiscent of the Tramontana or KTM, vehicles designed for road use but which clearly show that their place is on the track.
To achieve this exclusive result, twenty engineers and five mechanics were required, who worked hard together to reach perfection. It was a year ago that Dallara saw the first fruits of this great project and only now has the Stradale been unveiled. But behind every good piece of work there are great results, and the Stradale is one of them.

This vehicle sacrifices the front windscreen and other elements found on any other car, with the aim of reducing weight as much as possible. In this way, the Dallara Stradale weighs just 855 kg. This is also achieved thanks to the amount of carbon fibre used in its construction.
The most impressive thing is the power-to-weight ratio that the Dallara Stradale claims. Under its bonnet is a 2.3-litre, four-cylinder turbocharged engine that produces 400 CV. This power, combined with its low weight, promises truly impressive performance, although Dallara has not yet said anything about it.
At the same time, the Italian sports car offers the option of a six-speed manual gearbox or a sequential automatic. This will allow its future customers to enjoy the impressive tuning of the Dallara Stradale in any way they choose. Furthermore, the company has also considered customers who are less enthusiastic about circuits and offers less radical versions of its sports car, which feature a roof and “gullwing” doors.

The new sports car arrives eager for the track and for supercar territory since, with its 400 CV and a weight of just 855 kg, it will put high-flying vehicles in serious trouble. For now we do not know its price, but it will surely exceed 100,000 euros and will become a safe bet if your goal is to become king of the track.
