Get ready for a luxury Fiat 500: the Romeo Ferraris Cinquone Qatar arrives

Romeo Ferraris has worked on an Abarth 500 to create this variant with a competition-inspired look and a luxury interior designed for the Qatari market,

When we hear the words “luxury car,” the Fiat 500 isn’t usually the first thing that comes to mind. Sure, it’s a very elegant city car, and we know several tuners have worked on it to create more powerful variants with personal touches that raise its status. But when the workshop Romeo Ferraris, a Milan tuner that, as any good Milanese, places good taste and luxury as its flagship, takes an Abarth 500 in hand, things change. There are very powerful tunings of this car, but this one is, at the very least, the most curious in appearance so far. Among other things, of course.

The fact is that the Abarth 500 has become the Cinquone Qatar, and as its name suggests, it is a car aimed at the Qatari market, where basic cars are certainly not the most common. So in this special version we find several elements that mark the style of the small city car so that it can rub shoulders with the supercars that cruise the streets of the country.

Its physical look includes several elements that come from the world of competition, although it may seem somewhat out of place on a car of this kind. Among the features that seem to take this model into the world of racing are the spectacular air intakes on the bonnet, the air inlet on the roof, the 18-inch wheels and a roll cage in place of the seats. Everything suggests a car built for circuits, although looking at the interior, that idea disappears.

And it is that the interior has been crafted to create a cabin full of luxury and with the touch of elegance expected in a car for city driving. There we find pearl-white upholstery with many gold-colored details scattered throughout. The elegant front seats are covered in white leather too, and the upper part of the dashboard features a burgundy-colored trim. It even includes a flute glass holder, for enjoying a cava. An aspect that breaks with the racing intentions it shows on the outside.

The technology is appropriate for a high-end city car, and its 1.4-litre petrol engine manages to produce 250 CV of power and a maximum torque of 300 Nm, with a top speed of 240 km/h. Two Sparco helmets sit in the boot, so the driver and passenger will be able to tackle the circuits with elegance and style and then celebrate in grand fashion.
