How long will it take for the Bugatti Chiron to reach the Dubai Police?

In early March, coinciding with the opening of the Geneva Motor Show, we met the Bugatti Chiron. This luxury supercar had the difficult role of succeeding the Bugatti Veyron, which had been launched many years earlier with 1,001 horsepower and a price of over one million euros.

When we first saw the new model from the French company belonging to the VAG Group, we were all impressed. The essence of the “all-powerful” Veyron remained, and many of its design lines were still visible in the Chiron, except that it received a more modern and technological look.

In addition, the mechanical part evolved considerably, with 50% more power, that is, it went from 1,001 horsepower to 1,500, and its torque rose to 1,600 Nm between 2,000 and 6,000 rpm. Incredible. This allows it to reach a stratospheric top speed of 420 km/h, so if you’re driving on the German Autobahn and a bolt of lightning overtakes you, it’s very likely to be a Bugatti Chiron. If this happens and you want a closer look, accelerate, but not to catch it: rather, to reach the next petrol station before it has already set off again, with its 0 to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds.

Now we receive the artificial image of the front end by Miletic Design. As we can see, the most luxurious supercar in the world looks great in the police livery of Dubai. Honestly, it is a car that fits very well with its police vehicle fleet, where we can find, among others and to cite just three examples, its predecessor, the Bugatti Veyron, the Porsche 918 Spyder, or the Lamborghini Aventador.

The marketing of the well-known city of the United Arab Emirates seeks (and achieves) an image of wealth, which is why its immense vehicle fleet does not include the Citroën C4 Picasso as in Spain, but rather genuine supercars with high acquisition costs and high maintenance prices that would quickly catch any thief, if anyone dared to commit a crime.
