Lamborghini Sián Convertibles Supercars
Lamborghini Sián Roadster, limited production and already sold out hybrid convertible from the Sant'Agata team
The Lamborghini Sián Roadster is already a reality, of which only 19 units will be built for the whole world, all of which have already been sold

Last September, Lamborghini surprised us by presenting the Sián, its first hybrid supercar thanks to the mild-hybrid system it incorporates, a model produced in a strictly limited edition of just 63 units worldwide that sold out in the blink of an eye. Now it will have its open-top version, the Lamborghini Sián Roadster, also in a limited edition of 19 units, all of which have already been sold.
The silhouette of the Lamborghini Sián Roadster is truly spectacular, with a periscope-style line running diagonally along the bodywork until it meets the air channels between the driver and passenger, which are inspired by the iconic Countach. It won’t be the only nod, as the rear features six hexagonal lights, also inspired by the Countach.

The front, like its roofed sibling, features the characteristic “Y”-shaped headlights and places the nose in a very low position for aerodynamics. The airflow is further guided by the splitter and integrated dividers made of carbon fibre, as well as the air intakes and outlets on the bonnet and the rear spoiler integrated into the bodywork, which deploys as needed. All of this comes without losing a shred of aerodynamic efficiency despite being a convertible. We also cannot forget the finely crafted active cooling fins located at the rear, manufactured using a unique material technology that makes them move when they react to the heat generated by the exhaust system. This gives it a unique, lightweight cooling system; no actuators are needed to activate them.
With the new Lamborghini Sián Roadster, the brand also took the opportunity to present a new colour, Blu Uranus, developed by Lamborghini’s Centro Stile. Thanks to the Ad Personam department, owners can also individually customise their Sián Roadster’s colour to make it unique. In addition, the Oro Electrum colour applied to the wheels was specially chosen by the brand to represent the electrification of this model. Inside, besides the black upholstery, there are details in Blu Glauco and aluminium inserts in Oro Electrum. For an even more personal touch, owners can have their initials 3D-printed on the air-conditioning vent diffusers.

Mechanically, the Lamborghini Sián Roadster shares its engine block with the roofed version, using, as we previewed, the same 6.5-litre V12 engine from the Aventador SVJ. It has been upgraded with titanium intake valves, which raise its output by 15 CV to reach 785 CV. To this are added the 34 CV delivered by the electric motor of its 48 V hybrid system, resulting in a total output of 819 CV that allows it to accelerate to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 350 km/h.
Associated with the mild-hybrid system incorporated in the Lamborghini Sián Roadster is the supercapacitor, an innovative technology that makes it possible to store up to ten times more power compared to a lithium-ion battery. Add to this its low weight: combining the electric motor with the supercapacitor gives a total weight of just 34 kilograms. Housed behind the partition separating the cabin from the engine, the supercapacitor also differs from a lithium-ion battery in that it can be fully recharged every time the vehicle brakes, thus always having the energy needed for that extra boost from the electric motor, which automatically disconnects above 130 km/h.
The price of the Lamborghini Sián Roadster has not been revealed, but it’s worth recalling that the roofed version was rumoured to cost around 3.3 million euros, which has not been an obstacle for its 19 fortunate owners.
