When we last brought you a Manhart MH2, we described it as “the perfect sports car that will make you forget the BMW M2”, and the new Manhart MH2 630 has arrived to remind us that an M2 will always be an M2. Especially when it houses more than 600 CV under its bonnet and also features a design as radical as the one signed by this exclusive tuner.

With this foolproof combination, Manhart has presented this MH2 630 as a farewell to the current M2. A model that has been a benchmark since its arrival in 2017 and that will be succeeded throughout 2022 by the new generation of the model, of which we have already given you some details.

Sportiness and radicalism

As far as its design is concerned, the new MH2 630 features the same style line the tuner has already accustomed us to in its most recent creations, sporting a deep black colour for the bodywork, combined with a longitudinal stripe, others along the sides and numerous details in gold.

In addition, the new sports car debuts 19-inch wheels painted black with a gold-coloured rim, fitted with Michelin tyres measuring 265/35 at the front and 295/30 at the rear to deliver outstanding grip.

The rear is one of the parts that takes centre stage on the new MH2, above all thanks to its new carbon-fibre rear spoiler from the M235i Racing, with gold-coloured details, accompanied by the new diffuser and the four 90 mm diameter exhaust outlets.

Not just looks and performance

Among its most notable dynamic upgrades, Manhart has fitted a front-axle braking system taken from the M4 GT4, consisting of six-piston calipers and 380 mm discs, together with a new Clubsport three-way suspension system signed by KW.

The interior of this machine has also undergone major improvements, resembling a racing car in every sense: its rear section has been completely emptied to fit a roll cage, Schroth Motorsport harnesses and Recaro Sportster CS seats, plus a considerable amount of carbon fibre on the paddle shifters and centre console.

The key to the Manhart MH2 630

That said, it is time to talk about the heart of this Manhart M2 Competition, which, after being reinforced and fitted with a more powerful turbo kit, a CSF intercooler and several electronic tweaks, is capable of producing no less than 630 CV and 750 Nm of peak torque, emitting an angelic melody through its Manhart stainless-steel exhaust system with valve control.
