Mercedes-Benz C300, the new toy from Brabus
The tuner has worked on the Mercedes-Benz C300, both petrol and diesel and with saloon and estate bodywork, to boost its performance.

Two new models have recently hit the market within the C-Class range of Mercedes. They are the Mercedes-Benz AMG C43 and the C63, which has become the flagship in its own right. These two models are very striking, so from the Brabus workshops the owners of a Mercedes-Benz C300 have wanted to bring their cars closer to these offerings. They have worked on both variants, petrol and diesel, have added a body kit and have tinkered with the mechanics.
The changes have been made to both the petrol variants, called B30, and the diesel, named D30. The suspension has been swapped for a lower one and more subtle changes have been made to the saloon and estate bodies. In terms of sportiness, the AMG range already has plenty of style, but with Brabus, it is never enough.

Aesthetic changes
So, there are changes, though subtle, that offer an even sportier look. The new front splitter sits on the sides of the bumper, which prevents the front axle from lifting and helps maintain grip with the asphalt. There are more air intakes, which keep the AMG look so as not to break with the styling of the models.

The Panamericana grille has received the Brabus treatment and LED lights have been added to the lower part of the bumper. At the rear of the saloon version of the C-Class, a new rear spoiler has been added. The exhaust has four outlets, with a diameter of 90 millimetres, finished in black chrome.
A variety of 18, 19 and 20-inch wheels has been made available to buyers, which can be fitted with Continental, Pirelli or Yokohama tyres. In the photos you can see models equipped with Brabus Monobloc Z wheels, 19 inches on the estate version and 20 inches on the estate variant.
Handling improves thanks to the new suspension, which reduces the ground clearance by 20 and 30 mm, depending on the model.

Engine changes
In terms of performance, Brabus has also worked on the engine. The C300 and C300d versions have received the PowerXtra module. The 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine gains 42 CV with this addition, reaching 296 CV and a maximum torque of 450 Nm.
The turbodiesel unit, also four-cylinder and 2.0 litres, gains 45 CV and 50 Nm, allowing it to deliver 306 CV and a maximum torque of 600 Nm. All the torque is sent to the rear axle or to all four wheels through a nine-speed automatic gearbox.
With these figures, the petrol version has been announced to have a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration of 5.8 seconds, while the diesel version records 5.6 seconds. The performance data of the C43 plug-in hybrid are somewhat more impressive, as they cut the sprint time by 4.6 seconds, but the petrol and diesel versions of the Mercedes-Benz C300 offer more than enough spark to enjoy.
The top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h, so the performance is very satisfying for all users. There are no prices listed, so those interested in this treatment need to visit the tuner’s website and request a quote for what they want to add to the Mercedes-Benz C-Class.
