Peugeot L750 R Hybrid Vision Gran Turismo: the virtual supercar
The Peugeot L750 R Hybrid Vision Gran Turismo is designed to conquer virtual championships in the new video game Gran Turismo Sport.

Several competition vehicles have already been presented through video games, and Peugeot has not wanted to be left behind. This is the new hypercar from the lion brand, the L750 R Hybrid Vision Gran Turismo, a rather long name that we can shorten to L750 R. It replaces the L500 R, which was created to commemorate Dario Resta’s victory at Indianapolis.
The French brand’s competition vehicle has been conceived to compete in the virtual world, specifically in Gran Turismo Sport, a video game that will be released for the PlayStation 4 on October 18. Without a doubt, it is a car from the future no matter how you look at it, and I can’t help but think of the new Mercedes AMG Project One when I look at this new feline.
The exterior design features sharp, pronounced lines, giving the car a very aggressive and aerodynamic look. It has an imposing nose, with powerful air intakes that end in two sharp points. We don’t have images of the interior design, but we can get an idea of what it looks like.

Most of the latest supercars on the market feature hybrid technology, and the Peugeot L750 R is no exception. In this case, we have a combustion engine that produces no less than 580 CV, and if we add the 170 CV electric motor to this power, we get a total output of 750 CV, with the ability to reach 10,000 rpm. Very impressive figures.
The battery that provides the L750 R with a considerable amount of power contains lithium-ion cells with liquid cooling, and this whole system is positioned over the rear axle to achieve the most beneficial weight distribution possible. As for the gearbox, it is a 7-speed sequential unit, inherited from the latest technologies in the motoring world.
But there is even more innovation in this supercar. It features a dual-circuit hydraulic braking system, ensuring braking is as precise as possible. We should also highlight the variable suspension system fitted to the L750 R, which adjusts the ride height depending on the speed at which you are driving.

If these details have left you impressed, hold on tight, because its figures are astonishing and enter Bugatti territory. The Peugeot L750 R has a claimed weight of just 875 kg. This, together with its power, catapults this fiercest of lions to 100 km/h in just 2.4 seconds. Without a doubt, users who take this car out on their console will have every chance of winning.
