Piëch GT: The all-electric supercar with a sublime design and a legacy from the past
The company of Ferdinand’s great-grandson Porsche has unveiled this masterpiece, which will arrive in 2024 with 612 CV and a truly beautiful line

Piëch Automotive unveiled the concept at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, previewing this production version. The new Piëch GT is a 100% electric vehicle with more than 600 CV, four-wheel drive and a dynamic performance that promises not to disappoint anyone.
The Piëch GT carries a great automotive heritage on its shoulders: the company that builds it, as its own name suggests, belongs to Toni Piëch, son of Ferdinand Piëch and great-grandson of the legendary Ferdinand Porsche.
This supercar sits on a modular platform developed by the same brand, which they have also said will be used to build a new SUV and a sporty saloon, both with fully electric technology.

Elegant and timeless
The design of this creation is one of its strong points, with clean, elegant lines that give the whole car great personality and charisma. At the front we find a large streamlined mouth in the manner of a grille, round headlights with LED technology and a bonnet with subtle lines.
From the side, this Piëch GT somewhat recalls a Aston Martin, with a long bonnet, a very raked A-pillar and a roofline that drops towards the C-pillar, drawing a line full of dynamism and sportiness, emphasised by its attractive 20- and 21-inch wheels for the front and rear axles respectively.

The rear features slim C-shaped LED lights, a diffuser and a design line that is truly attractive and muscular, thanks to its reduced height of 1.25 metres, its 1.99 metres width and its 4.43 metres length.
Top-level performance
According to Piëch, its 1,800 kilos of weight has been distributed in the way most similar to a combustion sports car, to deliver handling that feels similar to a vehicle of that type.
The car is powered by three motors, two on the rear wheels and one for the front wheels, which together develop no less than 612 CV of power, allowing it to go from 0 to 100 km/h in just three seconds and from 0 to 200 km/h in nine seconds.

State-of-the-art lithium-ion battery
The battery that feeds these motors offers 75 kWh of gross capacity, arranged in a T shape to improve weight distribution, as we have already mentioned. This state-of-the-art battery can charge from zero to 80% in just eight minutes and provides up to 500 kilometres of maximum range with a fully charged battery.
Piëch Automotive’s plan is to begin testing in 2022 and start sales in 2024, building 1,200 cars a year at a price of around 100,000 euros.
