Ready to be blown away? Listen to the roar of the Audi RS6 GTO
The Audi RS6 GTO pays tribute to the very legendary Audi 90 Quattro IMSA GTO, and we bring you its spectacular sound. Sit back and enjoy!

A few days ago we showed you some images of the very Audi RS6 GTO. The four-ring brand wanted to pay tribute to the Audi 90 Quattro IMSA GTO and recruited four workers who needed six months of work to shape the concept that would carry out that mission. As a result, the Audi RS 6 GTO was born.
At first glance it may look like a video game car, but it is very real. The German team took the Audi RS 6 Avant as its starting point and widened it by 14 cm. After this first step, the Audi engineers redesigned the grille, added new bumpers, side skirts with air outlets, a large rear spoiler and new, more eye-catching wheels.

Audi RS 6 GTO, this is how this German beast roars
The only part of the interior that has remained untouched by the changes is the dashboard. The Audi RS6 GTO has no rear seats because its space is taken up by a roll cage. In the front, two Recaro bucket seats and red Schroth Racing safety harnesses have been added.

Its heart, which sits behind a custom cover with details in the same tone, is a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine from the road-going version of the Audi RS 6 with better performance. A series of modifications have been carried out on the engine that allow it to deliver 705 CV of power and a maximum torque of 900 Nm. With these figures, and considering the standard version weighs 2,250 kilos, this Audi RS6 GTO can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in about three seconds and reach a top speed of 310 km/h.

Would you like to drive a Audi RS6 Avant similar to this beast every day? It could become reality, because the four-ring brand has hinted at the possibility that Audi Sport may surprise us with a variant with more power and sportiness. Everything points to the future Audi RS6 Avant having a hybrid propulsion system. This way, it would offer much more power and even reach the levels of great sports cars. Nevertheless, we are sure that this Audi RS6 GTO will take you straight to Olympus itself.
