Techart GTstreet R Cabriolet: An extra dose of exclusivity, power and radicalness for Stuttgart's icon
Limited to just 87 units, with 800 CV and plenty of carbon fibre, the famous German tuner presents the most radical 911 Cabrio known to date

TechArt and its top-level preparations of the models from the Stuttgart brand are practically a classic by now. Since 2001, when the GTstreet R first appeared, the German tuner has undoubtedly become one of the greatest and most experienced specialists in modifying Porsche, especially the 911, our protagonist today.
The model we bring you is not just any 911: this time TechArt has taken the 911 Turbo and Turbo S Cabrio as its basis, creating the ideal and most radical icon for enjoying open-air driving. This machine is called the TechArt GTstreet R Cabriolet.
Radical, GT3-style
Visually, it is easy to tell what the preparation brings new. At the front, its front splitter, air curtains, air intakes and bonnet, all in carbon fibre, give that touch of radicalness to the elegant icon of the automotive world.

From the side, the vents on its front wings in the style of the GT3 RS, its wheel arches and carbon fibre skirts, and the iconic turbo cooling intake on the hip, also in carbon fibre, set this preparation apart and take the 911 to an even higher level. Obviously, we cannot forget its forged TechArt Formula VI wheels in 20 and 21 inches, which are not only lighter but also sublime.
At the rear, its eye-catching spoiler and diffuser embracing the two exhaust tailpipes of the active-valve exhaust system hand-welded complete this machine full of soul and character.

A strong focus on aerodynamics
Added to all these novelties, this GTstreet R Cabriolet sits closer to the ground than the standard version. This is because TechArt has fitted a suspension system that lowers the height of this supercar by up to 30 mm, thereby improving the vehicle’s aerodynamics.
Inside, as is typical of the tuner, we find a cabin filled with equal parts luxury and sportiness. Carbon fibre, Alcantara and leather are essential, and so is its sport steering wheel with the TechArt logo stamped in the centre.

2 power levels available
As we already mentioned, the improvements to this car are not only cosmetic: TechArt has presented two different power kits. The first is called the TechArt powerkit TA092/T1.1, which raises power to 710 CV and 900 Nm of torque. If you prefer the top-of-the-range version, you will need to fit the TA091/T2.1 power kit, which raises output to 800 CV and 950 Nm of torque.
For those who want this preparation, the starting price begins at 63,000 euros (taxes excluded), to which must be added the price of the donor 911 Turbo S Cabrio, which starts at 269,515 euros.
