Aston Martin DBX Sports Cars SUV Tuning
The Aston Martin DBX takes on its most radical side thanks to Mansory
The Aston Martin DBX has been through the hands of Mansory, which has radically transformed its design but has also unleashed truly enormous power

It doesn’t matter which brand you look at, they have all succumbed to the SUV craze, including those with a long tradition of sports cars such as Porsche, Bentley and, not long after, Ferrari, but also Aston Martin, and the English brand began producing what has become its first SUV in mid-summer last year: the DBX.
The DBX is a vehicle that combines the brand’s luxury and design tradition to perfection, but like any good Aston Martin it is also a vehicle that radiates sportiness thanks to the freedom its designers had to develop it, having been created on a platform exclusive to this model. So it is no surprise that, although it is an SUV, it has been one of the chosen vehicles for the role of medical car in Formula 1, where it must reach the scene of an accident as quickly as possible.

But Mansory believed the Aston Martin DBX deserved a place in its workshops, which leaves no doubt about the great potential this vehicle has even in the world of tuning. Naturally, as is to be expected from the German tuner’s work, the DBX created by Mansory will leave no one indifferent, both because of the aerodynamic kit designed for it and because of the power it is also capable of producing.

Starting with its exterior, Mansory has created a body kit that improves its aerodynamics while giving it an aggressive look, as we can see at the front, completely redesigned with a new elaborately designed bumper featuring carbon fibre parts, such as the lower splitter and the side fins. This material is also present on the bonnet, whose design incorporates new air outlets for cooling. Moving along the side, the widened wheel arches also give a fresh touch to the air outlets the DBX comes with as standard, while at the rear the double rear spoiler will catch your eye, along with the diffuser integrated into the new bumper. The final touch comes from the enormous 24-inch wheels fitted to both axles.

As you have seen from the exterior, the bodywork has been painted black with details in a green called “Limegreen”, a theme that carries over into the interior, where Limegreen takes on a greater role against the black to create stronger contrast, present on the seats, door panels, steering wheel trim and even the stitching. Almost in the background are the inserts in gloss black and chrome, or the carbon fibre trim.

Mansory has also kept an ace up its sleeve for the 4.0-litre V8 engine which, as standard, delivers 550 CV together with 700 Nm of torque. After changes to the ECU, the fitting of a larger turbocharger, sports air filters and a new exhaust line, it now produces 800 CV and an impressive torque of 1,000 Nm. With these figures, and despite being a heavy vehicle, it takes just 3.8 seconds to accelerate to 100 km/h, while its top speed is 325 km/h.
