The Aston Martin Valhalla takes on Ferrari and Lamborghini with a 1,079 CV plug-in hybrid V8 engine

Aston Martin Valhalla: the plug-in hybrid supercar with 1,064 CV that challenges Ferrari and Lamborghini with Formula 1 technology and a top speed of 350 km/h

Aston Martin has raised its stakes in the supercar world with the launch of the Valhalla, a plug-in hybrid model that promises to rival the best of Ferrari and Lamborghini, thanks to its carbon fibre bodywork that maximises rigidity and minimises weight, and elements borrowed from the world of Formula 1, such as active spoilers and a rear diffuser that optimise airflow.

The presence of the Valhalla is reinforced by its low and wide stance, aggressive lines and unique details such as state-of-the-art LED headlights and a roof with integrated air intakes. Everything is designed not only to look spectacular, but also to reach dizzying speeds with total stability for this incredible limited edition of 999 units.

Hybrid power: 1,064 CV

The Valhalla combines a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8, developed specifically with a 180-degree flat-plane crankshaft and dry-sump lubrication, with three electric motors that bring total power to 1,079 CV and 1,100 Nm of torque.

  • Twin-turbo V8: 828 CV acting on the rear axle with new, larger turbos compared with the DBX707.
  • Electric motors: Two on the front axle and one on the rear, providing all-wheel drive, an additional 251 CV and torque distribution to the front axle.

Acceleration is brutal: 0 to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds and a top speed of 350 km/h. As a plug-in hybrid, the Valhalla can cover up to 14 km in 100% electric mode, reaching a speed limited to 140 km/h. Plug-in hybrid technology significantly reduces CO2 emissions, bringing them to 199 g/km, an exceptional figure for a car of this calibre.

British precision in the chassis

To ensure absolute control, the Valhalla features a carbon fibre monocoque chassis developed using Formula 1 technology. Its multi-link suspension with adaptive dampers allows the height and stiffness to be adjusted according to the selected driving mode: Track, Sport and GT. The electronically assisted steering is calibrated to deliver precise response, while the carbon-ceramic brakes ensure reliable deceleration even in extreme conditions.

The Valhalla’s suspension uses a Trick push rod system at the front and Bilstein DTX dampers at the rear, complemented by carbon-ceramic brake discs of 410 mm at the front and 290 mm at the rear.

The IVC (Integrated Vehicle Control) system coordinates key elements such as active aerodynamics, the suspension and the electronic rear differential to achieve optimal performance. The front and rear axles communicate their parameters via software, without a physical connection, allowing instant dynamic adjustments.

Luxurious and technological interior

The Valhalla’s interior reflects the artisanal luxury of Aston Martin with a driver-focused approach. Premium materials such as carbon fibre and high-quality leather are combined with a minimalist, ergonomic design featuring several technological highlights, including:

  • Curved digital screen for the instrument cluster.
  • Infotainment system compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
  • Optional glass roof, which enhances the sense of spaciousness and connection with the outside.

The sports seats have been designed to withstand both the G-forces in corners and long motorway journeys.

Price and availability

The Aston Martin Valhalla will be available in 2025 with a starting price of 800,000 euros, positioning it as a unique option in the plug-in hybrid supercar segment. Its combination of iconic design, hybrid technology and unbeatable performance makes it a direct rival to Italian jewels such as the Ferrari SF90 Stradale and the Lamborghini Revuelto.
