A6 Avant e-tron Audi Sedans Electric Cars
The Audi A-6 e-tron travels from Copenhagen to Bergen to showcase its capabilities and its range
On a test trip, it was put to the test on a journey covering just over 1,000 kilometres, with only two charging stops along the way.

One of the biggest challenges facing electric cars is the perception that they are not capable of covering the distances needed to reach a destination. The lack of charging infrastructure makes this a rather sensitive issue. But in the Nordic countries, this type of mobility is gaining followers and the infrastructure is far more accessible.
A Audi A-6 e-tron was put to the test covering a distance of about 1,000 kilometres, departing from Copenhagen and arriving in Bergen using the network of charging stations installed in the countries travelled through: Denmark, Sweden and Norway. The journey was completed over two days, and the car’s navigation system was used, which set the necessary stops for charging along the way.

The journey was enlivened by the Bang & Olufsen sound system, which fits speakers in the headrests to deliver a better listening experience. The front passenger can also enjoy a screen dedicated to this seat, on which streaming applications such as YouTube can be run. The driver cannot see the content of this screen, so risks while driving are avoided.
The A-6 e-tron’s navigation system set the first charging stop after a 450-kilometre stretch. The charger chosen was a 350 kW charger, which made it possible to recover 27 kW in just seven minutes. With this top-up, the car could reach Oslo without problems, which lay 140 kilometres away.
The total distance covered on the first day of the trip was 600 kilometres. The second stage begins the following day, running from Oslo to Bergen, which takes the car off the motorway and onto secondary roads winding through the Norwegian mountains. In this setting, the car’s suspension is put to the test, allowing the driver to enjoy dynamic and highly efficient driving even on these demanding roads.
Halfway through the journey, the car was recharged at a fast charger and the final leg of the test trip could continue. With this test, the Audi A-6 e-tron has shown not only that it is an electric vehicle capable of delivering good handling over a long journey, but also that it operates very efficiently with its technological and safety equipment.
