The Ebro S700 PHEV joins the lineup of the Spanish brand with its first unit on the market
The arrival of the Ebro S700 PHEV strengthens the brand’s presence in the Spanish market and brings forward the launch of the plug-in hybrid version of the S800.

The arrival of the new Ebro models only reinforces the offer of the reborn Spanish brand. At the end of 2024, the first unit of the range came off the line, an Ebro S700 with a petrol engine. That unit marked the start of the brand’s arrival. This model was followed by the first Ebro S800, a larger seven-seat SUV that has become the company’s flagship.
In 2024, around 600 units of the different models in production that year were manufactured, but so far in 2025, around 1,800 units have already been built. Moreover, around 1,000 units have been sold so far this year, which makes the brand a success, considering the relationship between production and sales.

The new model added to the brand’s catalogue is the Ebro S700 PHEV. Soon, the Ebro S800 PHEV will also arrive, the plug-in hybrid version of the seven-seat SUV. For now, let’s see how the Ebro S700 PHEV performs, whose first unit has already left the assembly line.
To meet the expectations placed on it, the Ebro S700 PHEV is equipped with a plug-in hybrid engine of Chery origin. This consists of a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine, together with two electric motors. The combined power reaches 347 CV and a torque of 525 Nm. The battery has a capacity of 18.3 kWh, which allows an electric-only range of up to 90 kilometres.

The charging capacity on a fast charger is up to 40 kW, so an 80% charge can be achieved in a very short time. As for the technological equipment, it is the same as that offered on the petrol-engine model, so it is just as attractive.
Ebro’s expansion
Ebro is not only achieving a good production pace, but also has an increasingly wide sales network in Spain. It is expected that by the end of 2025 it will have around 80 sales points, which will help popularise the brand and increase sales.
In addition to the production plant in Barcelona and Montcada i Reixac, Ebro has a spare parts warehouse in Azuqueca de Henares, in Guadalajara. From there, parts and components can be supplied to provide a good after-sales service to users.
