The European 2015 Ford Mustang is unveiled in a photo gallery and several videos

We have already talked on other occasions about the arrival of the Ford Mustang 2015 in European markets. Yes, it is important for fans of the horse brand because, until now, there was no way to own one of these cars other than through import, with all the paperwork and approvals needed for it to circulate freely on the roads of the old continent. And finally, it can be in our garages without too many problems.

The Ford Mustang 2015 comes with two engine options in our market. Both are higher than advisable in terms of the taxes to be paid, since engine capacity is measured more strictly in European countries, and what may be cheaper in tax terms in the United States can, in Europe, turn out to be more expensive. A drawback that could pose a slight problem to its success at launch.

The fact is that 2,200 units have been ordered so far, even though it still has a few months before its full commercial launch. The first option is a 2.3-litre turbocharged EcoBoost engine, which delivers 313 CV, with a maximum torque of 432 Nm. All this power allows acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.8 seconds, paired with a six-speed manual gearbox.

At the top of the range, with the 5.0-litre V8 engine, it offers 415 CV and 530 Nm of maximum torque. It reaches 100 km/h in just 4.8 seconds from a standstill, also with the six-speed manual gearbox. To get the most out of European roads, some specifications have been changed, such as the brakes and other minor modifications to meet the expectations of European drivers.
