The Ferrari 812 Superfast will debut in Geneva with an 800 CV V12 engine
The successor to the Berlinetta offers a 6.5-litre front-mounted engine and is the most powerful production Ferrari in the history of the Italian marque.
The Ferrari 812 Superfast, successor to the Berlinetta range, will debut at the Geneva Motor Show. The 12-cylinder supercar is the most powerful production model in the history of the Italian marque thanks to its 800 CV of power. It is the first Ferrari to incorporate electric power steering and features a series of dynamic improvements that make it an even more performance-oriented vehicle than the models it replaces: the F12 berlinetta and F12 tdf.

The 12-cylinder series was the one with which the history of the Cavallino Rampante officially got underway in 1947. This is why the 812 Superfast debuts in the new colour Rosso Setenta anni, created specifically to celebrate the brand’s 70th anniversary.
The new Italian sports car uses a front-mounted 6.5-litre V12 engine that delivers 800 CV, making it the most powerful production model Ferrari to date. Its engine reaches 8,500 revolutions per minute – a record value for front-mounted engines – and offers a peak torque of 718 Nm. The Ferrari engineers achieved this level of performance thanks to a direct injection system at 350 bar together with variable-geometry intake ducts, a solution widely used in Formula 1. For its part, the dual-clutch transmission has been improved by reducing gear-shift times, both when upshifting and downshifting.

The 812 Superfast is the first Ferrari equipped with the EPS (Electric Power Steering) system, that is, with electric power steering. The new Italian sports car also includes version 5.0 of the Ferrari Side Slip Control (SSC) system, a device that helps control the vehicle’s sideslip when cornering.
The aerodynamics of the 812 Superfast have been improved over its predecessor (the Berlinetta). The doors feature a dynamic air intake and the rear wing incorporates a new by-pass that increase the car’s aerodynamic downforce.

The interior of the 812 Superfast has been revised in keeping with the more extreme look of its exterior.
