The Ford Mustang Dark Horse reveals its spectacular interior
The most radical and sporty version of the new generation of the Ford Mustang has just unveiled its cabin, with a manual gearbox and plenty of technology
Presented last September alongside the new generation, the Ford Mustang Dark Horse, the most hard-hitting version of the legendary American model, has just fully revealed its new interior and, in addition, confirmed that it will have a 507 CV heart under its bonnet, paired with a marvellous manual gearbox.
The range-topping version of the model already made it clear that it had nothing in common with a conventional Mustang, thanks to its tuning focused on delivering the best performance on track, its more muscular and sporty design and, above all, its extra power compared with the standard version.

Everything you need
Moving on to the major novelty published by the brand itself, the new Ford Mustang Dark Horse debuts an interior design that will not disappoint anyone, with the analogue and traditional elements that enthusiasts love in a sports car of this kind, combined with a very notable technological side, in which its new touchscreen infotainment system and its fully digital instrument cluster stand out.
Undoubtedly, one of the elements that has generated the most anticipation from these photographs is the titanium ball-shaped shift knob for the manual gearbox, with a distinctive blue anodised finish that matches perfectly with the seat stitching and the dashboard, the leather and Alcantara Recaro-branded bucket seats, the door inserts, or the exclusive plaques bearing the name of the version together with the serial number of each unit.

Colour that changes with the light
In the launch photos of this version, the new Mustang showed a dark blue tone called Blue Ember, which is able to change shade depending on how the light hits it, thanks to several pigments of different tones and more subdued amber touches to achieve this curious effect.
As could not be otherwise, the successor to the Ford Mustang Mach 1 had to live up to expectations in terms of performance, so Ford Performance has fitted the 5.0-litre V8 engine modified with forged piston connecting rods and a specific crankshaft to deliver no less than 507 CV of power and 566 Nm of torque, which can be paired with the seven-speed Tremec manual gearbox or a 10-speed automatic transmission.
