FOTON Tunland V9 Hybrid Cars Pick-up
The Foton Tunland V9 PHEV, the plug-in hybrid pick-up that arrives ready to surprise
This pick-up features a plug-in hybrid drive system that combines a combustion engine supported by two electric motors.

Foton is ready to launch the Tunland V9 PHEV, the electrified version of its flagship pick-up, the Tunland. This variant will feature a powertrain made up of a combustion engine together with an electric motor, which will make it easier to use both at work and for leisure. To this end, it has been fitted with a battery that will allow it to travel around 110 kilometres on the two electric motors alone, and which can support the combustion engine to deliver more power.
The combustion engine is a 2.0-litre turbocharged unit, which together with two electric motors delivers a combined output of 380 CV and a maximum torque of 800 Nm. The 4-DHT electromechanical transmission sends all the torque to the four wheels, so it is able to tackle the most demanding terrain.

The battery has a capacity of 32.8 kWh, which allows the electric mode to reach the 110 kilometres mentioned earlier, while its range with a charged battery and a full fuel tank is 1,000 kilometres. This plug-in hybrid system provides an immediate response and a very high level of torque from the outset. This helps when driving with a heavy load, on slopes and off-road.
It offers several driving modes, from fully electric mode, with the combustion engine working as a generator, to hybrid mode and with the combustion engine. In this way, the most suitable drive system can be used at any given moment. In addition, the battery energy can be used as a power source for external devices, thanks to a 220-volt socket.
Technology on board
The Tunland V9 PHEV is equipped with a technology suite focused on occupant comfort and safety. A 14.6-inch touchscreen dominates the cabin, alongside a digital instrument cluster. It also features wireless connectivity for smartphones and a driver assistance system with voice commands.
As for the driver assistance systems, it includes features such as lane keeping, lane departure warning, automatic emergency braking and lane change assistance, among others.
Dimensions of the Foton Tunland V9 PHEV
The plug-in hybrid pick-up measures 5,617 millimetres in length and 2,090 millimetres in width, with a generous wheelbase of 3,355 millimetres. Ground clearance is 240 millimetres. The platform follows the specifications of the V9 family, with dimensions of 1,577 x 1,650 x 530 millimetres. Its towing capacity is 3,500 kg, so it is ready for hard work and to meet the demands expected of it.
