MG MG4 Electric MG4 Electric Electric Cars Compact ECO
The MG4 Electric is now priced… and you're going to love it!
Thinking about an electric car? Then keep an eye on the new MG4 Electric, which can already be reserved, with a price from less than 30,000 euros.

It will still be a few months before we can see it at dealerships, but the new MG4 electric is getting closer every day. So much so that MG has just opened its online reservation period. And it has done so by announcing a price that turns the segment upside down: from less than 30,000 euros, depending on the brand, for the entry-level version.
This is how to reserve the MG4 Electric online
To make an online reservation for the MG4 Electric, you must go to this web page. The reservation conditions, which offer interesting advantages for the first customers who opt for the brand’s electric compact, are as follows: a deposit of 400 euros must be paid, which is of course deducted from the final price of the vehicle. This amount is fully refundable should the customer decide to cancel the reservation.

Customers who make an advance reservation will enjoy 350 euros of charging credit (to be used in the first year from the vehicle’s registration) at the charging points of the MG dealership and workshop network, a type 2 charging cable and free maintenance for three years or the first 72,000 km.
The price of the MG4 electric and its rivals
As for the price announced by MG, it is extremely competitive compared to its rivals, unless there is a “catch” and this price includes the Moves Plan grants, which does not seem likely. This would place the MG4 Electric as the most affordable electric car in its category… and by a considerable margin.

For example, it is around 4,000 euros more than the list price of the Citroën e-C4, which was the best-selling electric car in our market last July, and is set to soon reach the top of the electric car sales ranking.
Another of the most interesting electric compacts in the category, the new Mégane E-TECH Electric, starts from 36,600 euros, while the Cupra Born is priced from 38,720 euros. The cheapest Volkswagen ID.3 that can currently be bought clearly exceeds 40,000 euros.
Two battery versions, with up to 450 km of range
The MG4 Electric measures 4.29 metres in length, 1.84 metres in width, and its sleek bodywork has a height of 1.50 metres. It is based on the brand’s new modular platform, which will be used in the future for various models of other sizes and categories.

There will be a choice of two versions. The entry-level one has a 170 CV motor, with a 51 kWh battery and a WLTP range of 350 km. For the more powerful one, with 204 CV, the range reaches 450 km, thanks to its 64 kWh battery. MG boasts that the MG4 electric’s battery, which is liquid-cooled, is especially thin (only 11 cm high), which translates into generous interior space. Engine power is transmitted to the road through the rear wheels, and weight distribution is 50:50.

The interior, with very horizontal and minimalist lines, stands out for a floating central console and the large central multimedia screen, in contrast with the simple display used for the instrumentation. The range of body colours includes, in addition to the orange you can see in the images, shades of black, white, silver, grey, blue and red.
