The Microlino arrives in the Norwegian market for less than 20 thousand euros at current exchange rates
Micro is strengthening its international expansion by capitalising on the strong acceptance of electric vehicles in the Norwegian market, where compact and affordable solutions such as the Microlino can more easily carve out a niche.
The Swiss company Micro has just taken an important step in its European expansion with the start of sales of its electric microcar, the Microlino, in the Norwegian market. To do so, it has created Microlino Norge AS, a local entity dedicated exclusively to this Scandinavian country.
This new entity has a Norwegian partner who will be in charge of coordinating all the key aspects, including customer advice, maintenance, repairs and warranty management. With the creation of this structure on Norwegian soil, the company’s goal is to offer solid and lasting support to new owners of a Microlino in this Scandinavian country, in order to consolidate the brand in the country with the highest electric vehicle penetration rate in the world over the long term.

The headquarters of Microlino Norge AS is located in Sandnes, while the main operations will be concentrated in the Stavanger area. This latter location is expected to serve as the main hub for handling enquiries and providing both technical assistance and after-sales services. It is worth noting that the company shares its address with Egeland Auto, a used car dealership established in the region, which now includes the Microlino in its offering. Currently, this dealer has several units available, with prices ranging from 214,900 to 299,000 Norwegian kroner. At the current exchange rate, this amounts to roughly 19,100 to 26,600 euros.
Microlino Norge AS emphasises its commitment to quality, reliability and sustainable mobility. Norway presents itself as a strategic market due to its advanced adoption of electric vehicles and its appreciation for innovation, design and ecology.
From Italy to the world
This microcar, designed in Switzerland and produced in the Italian city of Turin, now arrives in Norway in two main versions. The entry-level version, the Microlino Lite, is ideal for use in urban environments, and its top speed is limited to 45 km/h, whereas the standard model can reach 90 km/h. Depending on the battery chosen, the range varies between 95 and 228 km, which is more than sufficient given that this is an urban vehicle.

The Microlino’s distinctive design pays homage to the iconic Isetta of the 1950s and stands out for its compact dimensions and its unique door that opens forwards. The interior space of this microcar is just enough for two people plus a little luggage. Although the vehicle’s limitations may seem significant at first, these are precisely its main appeal, given that its primary purpose is to make daily urban travel easier.
