The most powerful SQ5 in history arrives thanks to ABT
The company ABT has once again modified another of Audi’s products. This time it will be the turn of the SQ5, one of the most powerful SUVs the brand has produced to date.

ABT has done it again, creating a new concept based on another of the products of the company with the four rings. This time the German company did not want to get involved with high-performance sports cars, but with an SUV. The Audi SQ5 has been the chosen patient to pass through ABT’s hands and obtain greater performance.
The German tuner is famous for modifying Audi’s products. He already did it with the Q7 together with the collaboration of Vossen, and now it is the turn of the mid-size SUV from the four-ring family. As usual, ABT will modify both the styling and the mechanics of the new Audi SQ5.
The Audi SUV runs under its bonnet a 3.0-litre V6 TFSI engine that produces 354 CV, a power output well suited to moving at high speeds without the weight becoming a problem. But we already know that ABT’s engineers like to extract the maximum possible performance, and that is why they have changed a few things.

ABT aims to achieve a total output of 425 CV and 550 Nm of torque, compared with the 500 Nm it offers as standard. In this way the SQ5 positions itself among the most powerful SUVs on the market and gets strongly close to the GLC 63 AMG and other rivals in the segment. To achieve this, ABT will carry out a modification of the ECU to obtain more power without stressing the engine too much. Another element that will change on the SQ5 after passing through the hands of the tuner will be its suspension. The standard one will be replaced by one specially designed by ABT, which allows better control of the 425 CV and a sportier driving experience. But the changes do not end here.
ABT offers its future customers a much sportier and more aggressive styling, without losing the essence of the Audi Q5. To achieve this, ABT offers a new front bumper with large air intakes. The lower door sills will also be replaced by new ones that help maintain a much bolder look. But they have saved the best for the rear.

The Audi SQ5 receives a new, more aggressive and imposing diffuser, but the standout feature is the appearance of exhaust outlets. The most radical SUV regains four outlets thanks to ABT, which are hidden on the standard model. To complement the styling change, the German tuner will also offer a range of sportier wheels.
ABT has also thought of its most enthusiastic customers, and therefore will offer the option of fitting a much more aggressive kit than the “basic” one we told you about. For now, prices are unknown for this modification, but it will not be a low figure.
