The new Citroën Berlingo, available in Spain from €14,800, with a special launch edition #Top1
The redesigned Citroën Berlingo finally arrives in Spain with a starting price of €14,800, along with a limited edition of 130 units called #Top1

The PSA Group has made a strong start with its commercial vehicles division, giving its van range a thorough makeover. The Opel Combo has changed its look to resemble more closely the passenger car range; the Peugeot Partner has changed both its look and its name, now called Rifter; while the Citroën Berlingo has radically changed its look and now resembles the latest designs from the French brand.
It is precisely this last one, the Berlingo, that concerns us today, as it finally reaches our market after being unveiled earlier this year. The new Citroën Berlingo looks more like its siblings in the passenger car range; in fact, it adopts several elements used on the C3 and C4 Cactus, differentiated into three trim levels called Live, Feel and Shine, which come with quite a complete equipment list even in the entry-level trim.
These trim levels can be combined with the body sizes available: M, 4.40 metres long with five seats, and XL, which stretches to 4.75 metres long and also seats up to seven. It also stands out for its exterior customisation, since within a palette of 8 colours, together with the White Colour Pack and XTR (in orange), there are a total of 24 possible combinations for the bodywork. All of this is perfectly harmonised with Citroën’s already unique, unmistakable and distinctive Airbumps, which now also arrive on the Berlingo.

Inside, the aim has also been to continue this customisation capability, with a choice of three different ambiences. However, without a doubt the most notable thing about the new Citroën Berlingo is its modularity and the space it offers its occupants. With the rear seats fully folded down, you can reach a loading length of 3.05 metres in the XL version, or 2.70 metres if you opt for the M version, while its capacity is up to 775 litres in the M version. And that’s not all: the new Berlingo also offers up to 28 storage spaces in the cabin for holding objects.
Technologically, it has nothing to envy from many passenger cars on the market, incorporating many of the latest innovations in safety and infotainment. Notable features include the Active Lane Departure Warning, Traffic Sign Recognition, Active Safety Brake, a colour Head-Up Display, the Citroën ConnectNAV 3D navigation system, and the 180° Top Rear Vision camera, among many others.

Mechanically, buyers have the broad and well-known range of PureTech petrol or BlueHDI diesel engines from the PSA Group, covering a wide spectrum to suit the needs of any customer. The cheapest option, and therefore the version that gives access to the range, starts at €14,800 and is based on the M-size Berlingo in Feel trim fitted with the 75 CV BlueHDI diesel engine.
It should be said that, as a celebration of its arrival at Spanish dealerships, we will have a limited edition of 130 units called #Top1 in our country, which stands out for its generous standard equipment. It is offered in Aqua Green, with roof bars and 16-inch Starlit alloy wheels for the exterior, while the interior features items such as Grip Control with Hill Assist Descent, the Citroën Connect NAV 3D navigation system and the 20.3 cm touchscreen with Mirror Screen. Mechanically it incorporates the 100 CV BlueHDI diesel engine and is priced at €16,300, of which €2,550 is for equipment alone.
