Those interested in the renewed Peugeot 508, which will be shown in the coming days at the Paris Motor Show, can already place their orders at Spanish dealerships. The update affects the exterior design, the engine range, the instrumentation and centre console in the cabin, and the comfort and safety equipment.

Within the range, the main novelty is that the RXH version can now be purchased for the first time without the HYbrid4 hybrid system. Instead, customers can opt for the HDi two-litre engine with 180 CV coupled to a six-speed automatic gearbox. This alternative means the 508 no longer benefits from the four-wheel drive provided by the two motors of the HYbrid4, but in exchange it gains 127 litres of boot capacity.

The saloon and SW bodywork of the new 508 are available in Spain with five trim levels. The most basic is the Access, which includes as standard manual air conditioning, driver’s seat with height adjustment, leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel, speed limiter, 16″ steel wheels, front, front side and curtain airbags, ABS, ESP, ASR, hill start assist, MP3 CD radio with USB and Jack input, folding rear bench and, on the SW, roof bars and a load cover.

The Active adds to the above 17″ alloy wheels, automatic air conditioning, Confort pack, seats with electric lumbar adjustment, 7″ touchscreen, Bluetooth, rear parking sensors and electric folding mirrors. The Business Line, based on the Active and aimed at companies, adds Jukebox, navigation, Peugeot Connect and, on the SW, a panoramic roof.

The Allure features keyless entry and start, chrome window surrounds, electric parking brake, Peugeot Connect, navigation, colour HUD, semi-leather upholstery, other styles of 17″ wheels and, on the SW, tinted rear and side glass and a panoramic roof.

The top trim is the GT, which adds to the above a specific grille, exclusive 18″ wheels, chrome exhaust outlets, electrically adjustable heated front seats, Vision Plus pack, red stitching on the GT semi-leather upholstery, aluminium inserts in the cabin, double-wishbone front suspension with decoupled pivot and front parking sensors.

The RXH version comes as standard with specific 18″ wheels, chrome body trim, tinted glass, panoramic roof with electric sunshade, electric folding mirrors with integrated indicators, automatic air conditioning, aluminium door sills, electrically adjustable heated front seats with adjustable cushion, semi-leather upholstery with copper stitching, Confort pack, Urbano pack, Arkamis sound system, Trituner radio, Jukebox, Peugeot Connect, etc.
