The Renault Mégane R.S TC4 is the wildest version of the compact, with 360 CV for track use only
Renault has just unveiled the Mégane R.S TC4, the result of its collaboration with Vuković Motorsport, which comes with 360 CV and a limited production run of 30 units
The Renault Mégane R.S has evolved in a wild way with its latest generation, living up to its ancestors and that characteristic racing spirit. However, the diamond brand has wanted to step up with the latest iteration of its outstanding compact, a model that seemed to have reached its limits with the R.S Trophy-R but shows us it still had plenty of room for improvement. And it is from here that the Renault Mégane R.S TC4 emerges, a version suitable only for the track, which only 30 lucky owners will be able to enjoy.
This creation has been made possible thanks to the Vuković Motorsport team, which already has extensive experience thanks to its Mégane WTCR cars. In this way, the Renault Mégane R.S TC4 takes the best of each house to offer itself as a midpoint between the already radical Trophy-R and the competition car.
Starting with the styling, we find a new kit that not only makes the French compact more aggressive, but also more effective. This is possible thanks to a larger rear wing, a specific front splitter and prominent side skirts. Of course, we must not underestimate the significant weight reduction the Renault Mégane R.S TC4 has undergone thanks to a diet rich in carbon fibre and OZ wheels.

However, the highlight of this creation is its mechanical layout, which retains the same four-cylinder engine found in the standard Mégane R.S. But the engineers at Vuković Motorsport have managed to make that engine deliver 360 CV, a figure made feasible by a larger turbo and improvements to the ECU.
For now its performance figures are unknown, but considering the weight reduction and the aerodynamic and power improvements, we can expect an overwhelming result. This will be one of the reasons why the Renault Mégane R.S TC4 can only be used on the track, its natural habitat after undergoing these radical changes.

What is clear is that it is not a car for everyone, as its production run limited to 30 units demonstrates. And it will be those clients closest to Renault who have the opportunity to face an outlay that is unknown to us and thus enjoy the Mégane R.S TC4 on the circuits.
