The renewed Kia Stonic shows its equipment and price for the Spanish market
The Kia Stonic has substantially changed its look and added new technology, a set of novelties that are now arriving at the brand’s dealerships

A few months ago Kia presented the restyle that the Stonic has undergone, an important model in the European market for the Korean brand, which now updates its look in the same spirit as the rest of its recent launches, that is, adopting the “Opposites United” design language of Kia. The Stonic remains a compact crossover that moves like a fish in water in the city, although now it will do so with an improved style, since its sales have begun.
As we already told you at the time, the Kia Stonic renews its look especially at the front with the adoption of a completely new bumper, giving it an image closer to that of a larger SUV, something that has also led the brand to introduce new headlights and consequently a new light signature provided mainly by the daytime running lights in the shape of an “L”. This new front has meant that the rear has been reshaped to match its new image, also modifying the light cluster and the tailgate; and not forgetting a side profile that stands out for its new wheel designs.

Moving to the interior, the Kia Stonic changes its design and technology in line with the times we live in. The dashboard now features a new three-volume design highlighted by the new 12.3-inch screens, one for the instrument panel and another for the infotainment system. This new layout means the centre console has been modified, now housing the smartphone charging area, the gear lever, traditional buttons for certain functions and the USB-C charging ports.

The new Kia Stonic will be available in Spain in three trim levels with very attractive standard equipment, starting with the first one, called Concept, which includes among other elements the following:
- 16-inch alloy wheels
- Roof rails
- LED daytime running lights
- Electric and heated exterior mirrors
- Electric front and rear windows
- Synthetic leather gear lever
- Air conditioning
- USB charger in rear seats
- Infotainment system with 12.3-inch screen

The intermediate trim is reserved for the one called Drive, which adds to all of the above the following elements to its standard equipment:
- Rear light clusters with LED technology
- LED headlights
- Tinted rear windows
- Electric, heated, folding exterior mirrors with integrated indicator
- Chrome interior door handles
- Automatic climate control
- Height-adjustable passenger seat
- Rain sensor
- Blind spot assist

Finally, we have the GT-Line trim, which, in addition to adding a more elegant yet sporty look, includes the following elements on top of everything above:
- 17-inch alloy wheels
- LED fog lights
- Configurable ambient lighting
- Sport pedals
- Heated steering wheel
- Instrument panel with 12.3-inch screen
- 2 rear USB chargers
- Heated front seats
- Mixed fabric and synthetic leather upholstery
- Wireless charger

Mechanically, let us recall that the new Stonic is powered by the 1.0 T-GDi petrol engine with a power output of 100 CV paired with a six-speed manual gearbox; although we can also choose the version with mild-hybrid technology on this same engine, in which case the power output rises to 115 CV, and it can be specified with either the six-speed manual gearbox or a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic.
As we mentioned at the beginning, the new Kia Stonic can already be ordered at Spanish dealerships with a price starting from 19,190 euros for the Concept trim with the 1.0 T-GDi MHEV engine and manual gearbox.
