At the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, visitors will be able to see all of Subaru’s novelties, cars aimed at increasing the brand’s market share with the presentation of the Subaru Levorg, which will go on sale in November of this year. In addition, the brand will present the changes made to the XV, which incorporates new engines. Another of the cars displayed by Subaru at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show is the WRX STI, winner of the 24 Hours of Nürburgring.

The Subaru Levorg is a sporty-looking estate whose name comes from the words LEgacy, reVOlution and touRinG, which already reflects its intent and development. The Sport Touring bodywork allows Subaru enthusiasts to have a car suitable for the family without forgetting its sporty character.

The Subaru Levorg features a 1.6-litre longitudinal Boxer Turbo engine with direct petrol injection, capable of delivering 170 CV and a maximum torque of 250 CV. This engine is paired with a six-speed Lineartronic gearbox, which can also be operated manually. This gearbox is exclusive to Subaru cars and cannot be found in any other brand. In addition to this feature, it comes standard with Symmetrical All Wheel Drive, which adds an extra incentive for anyone who wants to test its power and control capability.

The changes introduced in the Subaru XV are marked by the inclusion of new Euro 6 engines, which will be fitted from next year. Engines meeting the new Euro 6 standard have already been included in the offering of other models from the brand, and in the case of the XV they maintain the power of their predecessor, remaining at the already familiar 147 CV. However, emissions and consumption are reduced, making it a more efficient engine.

Other engines fitted to these Subaru XV models are a 2.0-litre petrol engine producing 150 CV and another 1.6-litre unit with 114 CV of power, which is the entry level of the range. All of them improve their performance and considerably reduce consumption and emissions without losing power.

The winner of the 24 Hours of Nürburgring, the WRX STI, along with the rest of the brand’s models, will be present at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show so that potential buyers keep the brand’s offering in mind when choosing their next vehicle.
