Toyota Auris: the compact gets a facelift for 2018
Toyota has just given the Auris a facelift for 2018. The Japanese compact offers a new trim level called Feel! Edition, which includes a few new features

Toyota is beginning to renew its entire product range with a view to maintaining the same sales levels in 2018. To achieve this, the company has decided to give a restyling to one of its star vehicles, the Toyota Auris. The Japanese compact receives certain improvements over the previous version in order to continue offering modern, high-quality finishes.
The company seeks to give the Auris a more attractive and fresher look, with the aim of preventing the passing years from drastically affecting its latest products. Toyota is doing a good job and intends to launch a new range of models very soon, something we have already seen with the new Land Cruiser. But the Japanese brand also wants to favour its more affordable and acclaimed vehicles, such as the Auris.
The main novelty is that Toyota has just launched a new version of the Auris, called Feel! Edition. Within this new trim we find differences both in terms of equipment and styling. It features a new grille, now in black, and, at the same time, the Japanese company opts for two-tone alloy wheels.

Toyota seeks to make its new compact more youthful and, through its different versions, to appeal to all types of customers. This also includes large families and that is why the brand has included this new trim in the Auris Touring Sports, the estate version of the Japanese compact, which offers more interior space and a larger boot.
The Auris continues to offer the same equipment levels and trims we had known until now -except the Feel! Edition- which keep the same names. Even so, Toyota has wanted to make a distinction and only the hybrid Aurises can be paired with all the different versions offered. Petrol-engined Aurises will include the Active and Feel! trims, and those with a diesel engine will get the Business and Active trims.
The engines remain exactly the same and we have a hybrid-powered unit producing 140 CV, making it the most sensible choice when buying an Auris. The petrol variants are offered with a 120 CV engine and the diesels with 90 and 115 CV engines.

The Japanese company is putting all its effort into promoting sales of hybrid vehicles due to their low level of emissions and the savings they represent for the user. Even so, this technology comes at a price, and prospective buyers will have to pay 16,450 euros for the standard version and 17,700 euros for the Auris Touring Sports.
