This off-roader can tackle any terrain, however difficult, except the road. It has not been approved for road use, but it complies.

Vanderhall is a car manufacturer specialising in the production of three-wheeled vehicles, such as the Camel and the Venice. Now, it is entering the off-road vehicle market with its new model. It was unveiled some time ago, but under a different name. It used to be called Navarro, so it has now been renamed to gain more strength and presence in the market. That said, this off-roader aimed at the US market is not approved for road use.

The Vanderhall Brawley can only be used on off-road terrain, something to bear in mind when buying one. It measures 3.75 metres long, 1.93 metres wide and 1.76 metres high. The track width is 2.86 metres, which allows for good interior space.

The exterior design of this model is similar to that of the Jeep Wrangler, although it has a rather futuristic look. Its ground clearance is 0.46 metres, so it can move with considerable freedom over these uneven surfaces. 35 mm tyres help it get around.

As for the interior, it features four individual seats upholstered in leather and heated. The abundance of glass helps maximise visibility. The instrumentation is very basic and minimalist, with a predominance of physical controls. There is also a glovebox, air conditioning and Bluetooth connectivity with a sound system and, on the pretext that it is not approved for the road, it has no airbags.

Motors and batteries

The Vanderhall Brawley has four electric motors, delivering a total output of 301 kW, equivalent to 404 CV and a maximum torque of 651 Nm in its top version. The battery supplying these motors has a capacity of 40 kWh or 60 kWh depending on the trim chosen. The maximum range is rated at 322 kilometres. It recharges up to 80% in just one hour with a DC fast charger.

The off-roader has four driving modes: eCrab, eSteer, eTank and eCrawl. These allow different driving configurations, just as other models such as the Rivian T1 and the GMC Hummer EV do.

This electric off-roader has a starting price of 35,000 dollars, and the company asks for a 100-dollar deposit when reserving one.
