Watch out! This is the motorcycle that delivers 500 CV of power

You won’t find it at any dealership, because it was built by a motorcycle enthusiast who used an 8.0-litre V10 engine to bring it to life.

Allen Mylliard Moto 500 Cv

We’re used to cars having power that is measured in hundreds of CV, but in the motorcycle world, that’s not so common. Well, actually, it’s not even something you see. But from time to time, some two-wheel fanatic sets out to break with everything established and offer a model with performance figures you won’t find in commercial models.

Allen Millyard is a motorcycle enthusiast and one of those people who works to create groundbreaking models. On his YouTube channel he has shown the entire maintenance process the motorcycle he built in 2009 requires and which, like all vehicles, has to pass the MOT inspection, in this case, in the United Kingdom.

This model has drawn attention because of its enormous size. And that isn’t arbitrary; there’s a very clear reason. The motorcycle uses an 8.0-litre V10 engine. This comes from a Dodge Viper GTS from 1995. This unit manages to deliver 500 CV of power. But this comes at a cost, and that cost is weight. The motorcycle weighs 630 kg, of which 340 kg corresponds to the engine alone.

To keep that engine in place, Millyard added two auxiliary frames, one at the front and another at the rear. The size rules out a conventional transmission, but the engine’s own characteristics and torque mean there’s no need to change gears.

The motorcycle’s traction allows it to reach a top speed of 434 km/h, although in the test it underwent at the Bruntingthorpe circuit. In this test, the rider was motoring journalist Bruce Dunn, who managed to get the motorcycle to 342 km/h. To make this bike even more spectacular, several modifications were added to the ECU to make the sound from the exhaust more intense.

So there aren’t only cars with large engines; motorcycles can enjoy this privilege too. Even if, as in this case, it’s the work of an enthusiast who wants to enjoy a different motorcycle with high performance.
