BMW M2 Competition by G-Power, a beast pushed up to 670 hp
The G-Power BMW M2 Competition packs a whopping 670 CV and 860 Nm of peak torque. It also reaches a top speed of 330 km/h.

Many vehicle customisation companies are putting all their efforts into boosting, even further, the new BMW M2 Competition. G-Power did not want to miss the opportunity and has sharpened its claws on this new member of the sporting division family of the German brand. The BMW M2 Competition by G-Power will leave no one indifferent.
The sports car tuner has added to the BMW M2 Competition a performance kit that unlocks a major power increase.

The BMW M2 Competition by G-Power has had its turbochargers modified, an exhaust system added and its engine control unit remapped. The tuner did not want to reveal more details about the work carried out, but has noted that it has managed to push the powerplant to a whopping 670 CV and a peak torque of 860 Nm.
The S55B30 M45 3.0-litre twin-turbo six-cylinder engine now delivers 270 CV more and 310 Nm more peak torque compared with an original BMW M2 Competition. It is worth noting that this powerplant is also fitted as standard in the BMW M3 F80.

BMW M2 Competition by G-Power, a beast to be tamed
Now, the BMW M2 Competition has greater aspirations and will no longer have to feel inferior to its siblings, the BMW M3 and the BMW M4. The BMW beast developed by G-Power is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds. Its top speed is 330 km/h.
To optimise the sound, G-Power has installed a high-quality stainless steel exhaust system. The tuner has assured that “it is much more aggressive and distinctive”.
The power level offered by this BMW M2 Competition is very similar to that of the Ferrari 488 GTB, and it is the case that the Italian machine is only 0.2 seconds faster than the German one. The Cavallino Rampante offers 670 CV and a peak torque of 760 Nm. Its top speed is the same: 330 km/h. Which would you choose?

The new G-Power BMW M2 Competition is boosted, but its preparation will not end with all the reserves, as the tuner has set the price of the whole package at €20,000. If this figure is added to the price of the BMW M2 Competition, it could cost the same as a BMW M4 Coupé.
The decision is a difficult one. A G-Power BMW M2 Competition or a standard BMW M4? It is worth noting that the BMW M4 Coupé features a six-litre twin-turbo engine capable of producing 431 CV and a peak torque of 550 Nm.

G-Power BMW M2 Competition
Another fundamental aspect of this tuning is the feeling when you take the wheel. G-Power claims that the tuned BMW M2 Competition offers “solid road handling”. This is the result of the suspension. When a suspension of this type is combined with lightweight forged wheels, the unsprung masses are reduced and the vehicle becomes easier to control dynamically.

The G-Power BMW M2 Competition is fitted with staggered-fitment tyres measuring 245/30R20 on the front axle and 285/25R20 on the rear axle.
