Bugatti announces two new limited editions of the Veyron

Much has been said, for example, that Bugatti loses money on every Veyron it builds, although things can’t be going that badly when they have just announced not only the definitive production of the new Galibier, but also two new limited editions of their supercar par excellence.
On the other hand, we found it very curious that Bugatti itself announced it would end Veyron production with the 30 units planned for the SuperSport, although, as you can see, as long as there are millionaires willing to pay generous sums for a Veyron Volkswagen will keep building them.
Now, today, which market can compete for a complete limited edition? Without a doubt Dubai, a market where they circulate on its avenues and which risks looking saturated because of this, while the economic potential of markets such as China makes them ideal for this kind of purpose.
Thanks to this, two new limited editions have seen the light at the Shanghai Motor Show: limited editions based on the Grand Sport, this time finished in matte white with exposed blue carbon fibre, and the Super Sport, the latter with all the carbon fibre of its bodywork left bare, contrasting with a cabin upholstered in cream-coloured leather.
It is worth highlighting that Bugatti sold its first Veyron in China in 2008 at a price of around 2.2 million euros, roughly double what it costs in the West.
