Bugatti Chiron Super Sport, the new limited edition of the French supercar
The French supercar brand surprises us once again with a version of the Chiron, modified to deliver more performance and presence.

Bugatti is the brand of excess. A few days ago we showed you what the definitive Bugatti La Voiture Noire looked like, a one-off piece that brings together the best of the brand. Now we are going to show you the brand’s new proposal, one more variant of the popular Chiron, which will be called Bugatti Chiron Super Sport and which does not fall short of that one-off model, although its price is considerably lower.
The new Chiron variant “solo” will cost 3.2 million euros and production will be limited to 9 units. These cars have been prepared to deliver higher performance than the Chiron we know so far. Looking at the technical specifications, the 8.0-litre W16 engine produces 1,600 CV. Peak torque remains at 1,600 Nm and is sent to all four wheels through a 7-speed automatic gearbox.

Engine improvements
The engine remains, but both turbos have been replaced. They are now larger, which allows them to deliver more power. Maximum power is delivered across a range of engine speeds between 2,000 and 7,000 rpm. With these figures we won’t tell you about the 0-100 km/h acceleration, but rather take you up to 200 km/h. The time it takes to reach that speed is 5.8 seconds. It reaches 300 km/h in just 12.1 seconds, a little more than many cars take to reach 100 km/h.

BUGATTI CHIRON SUPER SPORT
If the Chiron’s chassis was already spectacular and designed to withstand great stress during operation, this version has seen further work on its characteristics. For example, the steering has been improved so that it connects better with the asphalt, and the suspension has been modified.
There are four driving modes, which modify the various elements that govern the car’s behaviour. These modes are EB, Handling, Autobahn and Top Speed, ranging from the most comfortable driving to the highest speed without giving up comfort. As for aerodynamics, the aim has been to improve grip on the ground even at speeds of 440 km/h. A real feat for a car that does not state its top speed but could exceed 450 km/h.

There are various changes compared with the base model, such as the vertical position of the four exhaust pipes and, above all, a slightly larger rear end, with 25 additional centimetres. A car that very few drivers will be able to enjoy and that enters the history of a brand that never ceases to surprise us.
