Cars that were born from a collaboration with Porsche
The cars that were born from a collaboration with Porsche will surprise you more than you think. Are you ready?

Did you know that some models exist thanks to the influence of Porsche? Besides the Porsche 911 or the Porsche Cayenne, the Stuttgart brand has helped other manufacturers develop their models. These are the cars that were born from a collaboration with Porsche.
There are models for every taste: more modest cars and models that have become true works of art. In addition, all of them can boast that their DNA is inspired by the Stuttgart company.
Audi RS2 Avant

The Audi RS2 Avant is one of the cars that were born from a collaboration with Porsche. Perhaps it is the best known of the selection and one of the most legendary. Audi and Porsche joined forces in a Joint Venture to launch the first Audi RS. This model from the brand of the four rings was produced at the Zuffenhausen plant. As a curiosity, the engine, the brakes, the indicators, the wheels and even the mirrors were Porsche.
Mercedes-Benz 500E

You may well have heard of the Mercedes-Benz 500E, and that’s perfectly normal. It became one of the most adored saloons of the 90s. The star brand allied itself with the Stuttgart company to combine the best of both manufacturers in a single car. The chassis and engine are from Porsche, while the equipment and refinement are from Mercedes-Benz. The heart is capable of delivering 326 CV of power.
Renault Clio V6

A few weeks ago we told you that the Renault Clio V6 had just celebrated its 20th anniversary, and Porsche had a lot to do with the development of this sleeper without equal. Porsche Engineering was in charge of boosting the engine up to 255 CV of power. A true work of art!
Lada Samara

You may have expected to find another model in the selection of cars that were born from a collaboration with Porsche, but the Lada Samara deserves to be here. This Russian car was born to conquer the compact segment in Europe, and the Stuttgart engineers were responsible for developing the cylinder heads.
Opel Zafira

I’m sure you’re amazed right now, and it’s no wonder. The first-generation Opel Zafira was developed in 1998, no less, by the Porsche Engineering department. The Stuttgart engineers were in charge of preparing the chassis and the suspensions, and they even launched the Opel Zafira OPC.
