E-legend EL1, the legend of rallying is reborn
The EL1 is the reincarnation of the legendary Audi Quattro S1, an electric reinterpretation that delivers 816 CV of power and a spectacular design

E-Legend is a company dedicated to crafting legendary vehicles by hand. Some time ago we brought you a creation from the German-based company, the Peugeot e-Legend, an electric reinterpretation of the Peugeot 504 Coupé from 1969.
Now it is the turn of the EL1, the first creation in a series of vehicles with a history in the rallies of the 80s that E-Legend wants to launch. The EL1 is the return of the great Audi Quattro S1 from Group B, a machine that many of us remember with nostalgia for its great character and personality.
Charismatic elements
The E-Legend EL1 has almost identical proportions to the Audi, although it features a more muscular and modernized look while always respecting its essence. Both share elements such as the triple air intake on the bonnet, the black grille running from end to end, the five-spoke white alloy wheels and the small black rear spoiler.

The work of the E-Legend team includes elements such as camera-based mirrors, LED headlights, an infotainment system and an digital instrument cluster behind a carbon-fibre steering wheel.
One…. two… three!
As for its engine, or rather its engines, the E-Legend EL1 has three motors that together deliver an incredible 816 CV. The EL1 has two motors on the rear axle and one motor on the front axle, just like the Audi e-tron S with 503 CV.

Its weight is 1,608 kilos, a very good figure considering this is an electric vehicle with a heavy battery load, 550 kilos to be exact. This is thanks to its monocoque carbon-fibre chassis, as if it were a Formula 1 car.
All these ingredients allow it to go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds and from 0 to 200 km/h in under 10 seconds. Its top speed is limited to 255 km/h.

The battery powering the three motors is 90 kWh, arranged in a T shape to improve weight distribution. With this power, the EL1 has a range of around 400 kilometres.
Exclusivity galore
The price if you want to get your hands on one like this is nothing less than 1,060,000 euros excluding taxes, and it will be limited to just 30 units, ensuring exclusivity. The first prototype is expected to launch in 2022.
