Ferrari LaFerrari, Porsche 918 Spyder and McLaren P1: the Top Gear trio is back

Top Gear as we have known it until now is history. It is a fact, something that at this stage of the game surprises no one.

It is also a fact that the three British journalists have gathered again to record a new show that will air on Amazon TV… a show that is about to begin.

We don’t even know the name of the new show from the most popular automotive trio in the world yet, but we already know they are going to start off, as they say… strong. The possible “Gear Knobs” -one of the titles that sounds the strongest- is sure to be a massive audience hit, as Top Gear always has been.

However, it is clear that good, spectacular cars always help attract an even broader audience than usual, something the British know very well. That is why the first photograph we have of the new show comes from Clarkson and Hammond, who posted it on their Twitter.

In it we can see the entire recording crew of the show at the Portimao circuit (Portugal) posing for a photo alongside the great stars of the event… in addition to the presenters. The focus of attention is on the cars: three supercars that will make for the best comparison in the world.

Indeed, we are talking about the Ferrari LaFerrari, the McLaren P1 and the Porsche 918 Spyder, the three hybrid supercars of the moment, which meet on the same track to test their strength in an encounter that was already scheduled for the previous Top Gear, but was finally cancelled when the show was cancelled.

Now, fans of the show can do nothing but wait, wait and wait to enjoy what will surely be an authentic spectacle for the senses.
