Get your wallet ready, because the BMW M3 CS Touring is already in Spain and in very few units.

Earlier this year, BMW gave us the pleasant surprise that the M3 Touring would get its corresponding radical CS version, that is, a version whose main goal is to achieve greater performance through a specific tuning of various components, new elements made specially from carbon fibre, and also a tuning of the engine to achieve more power.

And the work carried out by the specialists at BMW M to produce the best M3 CS Touring has been really good. In fact, it was at the beginning of this August that BMW announced that the M3 CS Touring had set a time of 7:29.490 minutes on the always demanding Nürburgring circuit, thus becoming the fastest estate on the “Green Hell”, clearly beating the M3 Touring itself by almost 5 seconds and finishing just over a second behind the M3 CS, which is no small feat considering the greater weight and size of the M3 CS Touring.

To achieve something so radical, let us remember that BMW M has applied a series of carbon fibre elements to the exterior of the M3 CS Touring which, besides improving its aerodynamic behaviour, also shave kilos off the scales. These are the front splitter, the bonnet, the front air intakes, the rear diffuser and the mirror housings. All of this is combined, without losing good taste, with details such as contrast and four body colours chosen for the occasion.

Inside the BMW M3 CS Touring there is a sporty and radical atmosphere. One only has to look at its spectacular bucket seats upholstered in leather with a full carbon fibre rear shell, a material also present in the inserts throughout the cabin, combined with Alcantara. Even so, this model is still an estate and forgoes comforts such as seats with electric adjustment and heating, illuminated door sills, BMW Live Cockpit Professional, BMW Head-Up Display, or various driver warning and assistance systems. All of this without forgetting the 500-litre boot, which can be expanded to 1,510 litres by folding down the rear seats.

But that is not all, because its six-cylinder in-line engine of 3,000 cc with TwinPower Turbo technology gains 20 CV compared with the basic M3 Touring, reaching a power output of 550 CV and 650 Nm of torque, which is intelligently distributed between the axles through M xDrive all-wheel drive, together with the variable M active differential on the rear axle. Not to forget the eight-speed M Steptronic automatic gearbox with Drivelogic. All of this allows it to reach 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds and then 200 km/h in 11.7 seconds, while the top speed is limited to 300 km/h. Effective braking is also guaranteed at all times thanks to the M Compound braking system.

As I said, the BMW M3 CS Touring is already available at the brand’s Spanish dealerships. However, to get one you will have to pay the 196,150 euros that it will cost as its starting price in our country. And be quick, because if you can afford it and want one of these engineering jewels, you should hurry, since only 50 units will go on sale in our country, as its production will be limited.
