Hyper 5, the test of the five most powerful hypercars on the market, on video
If you have ever had the chance to see a model of a hypercar, those spectacular cars that are really hard to spot on the roads we usually travel, you know that it is a very special experience. Okay, perhaps it isn’t quite as special as driving one of them, but it is impressive to watch them run on the track and hear the sound of their engine.
So imagine seeing five of the most powerful machines currently on sale battling it out in a speed duel on a circuit. This is what they do in Hyper 5, a test carried out to see which of these five exceptional cars is the most capable of them all. And they don’t just do it; they also share it with all of us on video, so we don’t miss a thing.
Alejandro Salomon, a lucky driver, has gathered on the track five models that represent the best of the automotive world. On the track, the models McLaren P1, LaFerrari, Porsche 918 Spyder, Pagani Huayra and Bugatti Veyron SuperSport go head to head. In successive runs, they face each other on the circuit. In these tests, acceleration time over a quarter mile is recorded, along with the time they take to complete one lap.

The setting where these test videos were filmed is the The Thermal Club track in California. The curious thing is that none of the brands involved in the video are present; the cars were lent by their owners. That is, they are cars that are driven normally and have a “standard” configuration, if that is possible for this type of supercar.
Among the drivers who tried each of the cars is James Sofronas, a driver for GMC Racing who agreed to test them all. And as an interesting fact, one of the brands absent from this test, the Swedish Koenigsegg, had to respond through an article to those who asked that the Koenigsegg One:1 be included in the test.
The brand says there is no problem. Its cars have already shown that they have everything needed to compete with them and, if the occasion arises, leave them behind, so they see no need for one of their units to take part in the test. Do you want to know which is the best hypercar according to these tests? Then you can watch the videos and enjoy these tests, which are truly spectacular.
