Mark Webber and Walter Röhrl each tackle the new Porsche 911 GT2 RS in their own way
Mark Webber trail-braking precisely and Walter Röhrl drifting tackle the new Porsche 911 GT2 RS on a circuit. Which style of driving do you prefer?

If you had the chance to drive the new Porsche 911 GT2 RS around a race track, what style of driving would you choose? Would you be a precise driver like Mark Webber, laying down perfect lines to extract every ounce of speed and performance from the brutal new sports car from Porsche, or would you prefer to experience the extreme rawness that the 700 CV of the new GT2 RS deliver?
Circuit racing or rallying? At this point we’re still asking why we keep hesitating, and Porsche must have thought the same when it brought together two great masters of the wheel, Mark Webber, former Formula 1 driver, and the legendary Walter Röhrl, a true rallying icon, to put them behind the wheel of the rear-wheel-drive coupé and find out on the track which of the two driving styles is better.

Here we show you two of the videos that Porsche has edited about this exciting meeting of both drivers with the 911 GT2 RS, and judging by the result, Röhrl’s final verdict may well be the one that decides the outcome of the experiment.
What is clear, judging by the faces of both men as they climb out of the car and the exhaustion their expressions reveal, is that they had a really great time, especially the former world rally champion who, at 70 years old, still amply demonstrates the saying that “what you learned, you keep… and you save for old age.”
The 911 GT2 RS is the most powerful and fastest 911 ever approved for road use… on the streets. Its twin-turbo boxer engine delivers a brutal 700 CV of power and 750 Nm of peak torque, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in a mere 2.8 seconds, reaching a top speed of 340 km/h.
