Pagani Huayra Imola, a brilliant supercar for five lucky buyers

Pagani is one of those manufacturers that care for and pamper every project, so it is no surprise that they have turned the Pagani Huayra Imola into something very exclusive

In September we heard a rumour about the new model that Pagani was putting on the market. It was called Pagani Huayra Imola and had been handed over to the buyer amid tight security measures to prevent it from leaking to the press. In other words, beyond this rumour, little was known about the model. Until now. Because the designer has finally revealed the look and some of the features of this supercar.

And we say some of the features because he has only made some details public, beyond what we can see for ourselves thanks to the photographs that accompany this article. First of all, it is a hypercar that shows us a totally aggressive and powerful look. A very dynamic front end with large air intakes, designed to ventilate an imposing engine.

This hypercar is powered by a twin-turbo V12 engine of Mercedes that delivers a considerable 827 CV and a maximum torque of 1,100 Nm. All this power reaches the rear axle through an X-trac automated manual transmission, which uses a system that Pagani calls Smart Gas to deliver faster and smoother gear changes.

The Pagani Huayra Imola is built on an ultra-reinforced monocoque chassis made of carbo-titanium and carbo-triax, the same combination offered by the Roadster BC. New suspension, active dampers controlled by a new central electronic unit that also handles the aerodynamics, engine management, steering and differential.

Besides elements such as the large rear wing along with the rear diffuser, the new Pagani Huayra Imola is the first model from the brand to use a paint system that cuts 5 kg in this area without giving up the depth, colour and gloss of the finish. A very low weight has been achieved thanks to the design and construction of the car with lightweight materials, so it comes in at a weight of 1,250 kg.

Only 5 units of the Pagani Huayra Imola have been built, a tribute to the circuit of this Italian city, and they have already all been sold. The official price has not been revealed, but it is rumoured to be 5.75 million euros, so we are looking at a really expensive and very exclusive car.
