Enjoying the road is a different experience when you do it behind the wheel of a Porsche Cayenne. The Germans know this and want that experience to be even more impressive, so they are offering a new edition of this increasingly popular luxury SUV, equipped with a series of features that cannot be found on the model it is based on. This Porsche Cayenne Platinum Edition is available in the Porsche Cayenne Diésel and Cayenne S E-Hybrid variants.

These two cars offer equipment that is available as options that can be added to these models, but at a price noticeably higher than that offered with these two versions, which increases the luxury of the model. In the case of the Cayenne Diésel, this extra equipment would mean a price increase of 14,000 euros, but the final price of the version only has a price increase of 4,576 euros. So the saving, taking the equipment into account, is more than 10,000 euros.

Standard equipment that raises the category of the model

In addition to what can be obtained as an option, these two special models have as an extra a sports watch and seats trimmed with Alcántara, which are exclusive to these versions. To distinguish them, they have been given a new look on the exterior, which sets them apart from the rest of the range. One of the elements that makes the car stand out is the 20-inch RS Spyder wheels in platinum color, which are fitted in wider wheel arches and painted in the body color.

The bi-xenon headlights use the Porsche Dynamic Light System active lights and the car has a parking assistance system, which uses a series of sensors located at the rear of the car. The exterior mirrors have an anti-dazzle treatment and the rear windows are treated with the Privacy process. The two available colors are white and Solid Black, although Jet Black, Purpurit, Mahogany, Carrara White or Rhodium Silver, all metallic, can also be chosen as an option.

The sports seats have the logo of Porsche embroidered on them and, of course, it features the Porsche Communication Management navigation and entertainment system, with a BOSE Surround audio system. As for engines, the diesel has a three-liter V6 block, with a power output of 262 CV. The Hybrid has a 3.0 V6 petrol engine and an electric motor, with a combined power of 416 CV.

The diesel version is priced at 83,773 euros, while the hybrid model is 93,528 euros and both are already available in our country.
