Production of the Audi e-tron GT starts: €104,290 base price and two power levels
Audi has just given the green light to production of the Audi e-tron GT, a model that arrives in Spain with a starting price of €104,290.
The Audi e-tron GT has been one of the most anticipated new releases of 2021, positioning itself as the second 100% electric model from the four-ring brand and its first electric coupé saloon. Following its official unveiling and the announcement of its new features, the German brand has just kicked off production of the e-tron GT, a model already available on the Spanish market with two mechanical options, five equipment packs and a starting price of €104,290, a figure that rises to €143,420 if you opt for the RS e-tron GT.
In this way, Audi opens the door to a new breed of electric cars that, besides following some of the steps set by the Audi e-tron GT, will offer sporty variants, as the saloon with its RS version demonstrates. With all this, the brand is now ready to take orders and mass-produce its second electric car.
For now, the e-tron GT is available with two mechanical levels: the standard and the RS. In the case of the former, Audi offers, besides a less radical tuning, an engine capable of producing 476 CV -although thanks to Boost mode it delivers 530 CV for a limited period- and 630 Nm of torque. This variant is paired with an 85 kWh battery that promises a range of 488 kilometres under the WLTP homologation cycle.

If we opt for the Audi RS e-tron GT, the top of the range, performance rises to 598 CV and 830 Nm of torque, although momentarily power climbs to 646 CV. In this case the range is somewhat lower, the RS claiming 472 kilometres in this respect, a distance also subject to the WLTP cycle.
Five equipment packs for the Audi e-tron GT
In addition, Audi offers up to five equipment packs for the new e-tron GT. With the Gran Turismo pack -priced at €5,900- the electric saloon gets power front seats with memory, the Ambient Lighting Plus pack, adaptive air suspension, Matrix LED headlights with dynamic indicators and the Bang & Olufsen audio system.

The Dynamic pack includes the rear differential with regulated locking, adaptive air suspension (the last two items standard on the RS model), four-wheel steering and Electromechanical Steering Plus; at a higher level, the Dynamic Plus pack for the e-tron GT adds the e-tron Sport Sound and brakes with a tungsten carbide coating on the discs, as well as black, red or orange brake calipers.
The Tour pack is designed to improve comfort on long-distance or intercity journeys; the functions adapted for urban traffic are covered in the City pack; and the Remote Park Assist Plus pack adds assistants that make parking manoeuvres easier. All the assistance systems included in the three packs are in turn grouped in the Assistants Plus pack.
