Range Rover SV Ultra, a luxurious vehicle with an immersive audio environment
Land Rover raises the luxury of the Range Rover with the SV Ultra version, which also turns it into a concert hall thanks to the SV Electrostatic Sound system

I think the vast majority of us can agree that today’s Land Rover makes vehicles that are as stunningly beautiful as they are mechanically flawed, and surely if they paid as much attention to the latter as they do to the former, they would be selling cars by the hundreds, because let’s not kid ourselves: even though everyone knows this, they keep selling because their product is truly beautiful.
An example of what I mean is the new Range Rover SV Ultra, a vehicle in which the brand, originally from England, has sought to push its own luxury standard to the maximum while immersing us in the world of premium audio through a sound system making its global debut: the innovative SV Electrostatic Sound system, with which the Range Rover SV Ultra becomes a concert hall.

But let’s start with the exterior, where Range Rover offers the SV Ultra multiple colour options, including the new Titan Silver shade exclusive to this version, which uses aluminium particles and advanced pigmentation technology to create a luminous, highly reflective surface. This colour is complemented by details in Satin Platinum Atlas and Silver Chrome, while the enormous 23-inch wheels are finished with Satin Platinum inserts.

The interior features the new and exclusive combination of Orchid White and Cinder Grey Ultrafabrics, with seats that display, for the first time, a laser-etched mosaic pattern applied to the upper sections as well as the inserts and backrests. The dashboard inserts are in a new palm rattan veneer, with the grain enhanced by an Orchid White tint that accentuates its open-pore texture, complemented by details in a glossy white ceramic finish.

Although what will undoubtedly draw the most attention inside is the new SV Electrostatic Sound system, made up of 21 thin-film transducers integrated into the redesigned winged headrests, the backrests and the existing speaker locations, backed by five subwoofers and Range Rover’s Body and Soul Seats and Sensory Floor technology. The former essentially generates pulses in the seats of the first and second rows and the latter is based on four transducers beneath the floor mats at each passenger’s footrest.
The Range Rover SV Ultra can be combined with the plug-in hybrid P550e powertrain as well as the V8 P540 petrol engine, although a fully electric version will become available later this year. In Spain it can already be ordered with a starting price of 284,167 euros.
