The Ford Mustang GT becomes more American in Europe thanks to Wolf Racing and its 745 CV

The Ford Mustang GT has decided to work with Wolf Racing, a German tuner that has managed to make the quintessential muscle car produce 745 CV.

If you are a lover of American cars, you are surely also a lover of the Ford Mustang, one of the pioneers of what is known as the muscle car. However, for several years the Blue Oval firm denied us the purchase of the Mustang but, after hearing our pleas, our dreams came true. In this way, the Ford Mustang landed in Europe in 2015 with two variants, leaving the Shelby-badged ones on the American continent. But the tuner Wolf Racing wanted to solve this problem in a truly striking way.

Currently in Europe we can get the more restrained Ford Mustang EcoBoost or the traditional GT with its Coyote engine. However, the German tuner wanted to go further and reach figures reserved for the Shelby-badged versions, making it possible for the Old Continent to enjoy an even more radical and beastly vehicle.

As is customary, the changes made to the Ford Mustang by Wolf Racing are not merely mechanical. On the outside we can see a series of modifications that alter the styling and shout from the rooftops that this is not an ordinary Mustang. To be more precise, 21-inch wheels, a series of vinyls and a ducktail spoiler finished in carbon fibre enhance the look of the quintessential muscle car.

Wolf Racing also wanted to take advantage of the situation to modify the suspension, adding an adjustable coilover type that lowers the bodywork by 30 mm. In this way not only is a sporty look achieved, but also a substantial improvement in dynamic behaviour, which is very necessary to correctly manage its new power.

The German company has turned the Ford Mustang into a new beast, leaving far behind the 450 CV produced by the 5.0-litre V8 when it leaves the factory. Thanks to an Edelbrock supercharger, the pony car is able to produce 745 CV of power and 880 Nm of torque, figures that catapult it to 100 km/h in 4 seconds and allow it to break the 300 km/h barrier.

The most striking thing about this modification is that it still allows its potential owners to enjoy the magnificent power-to-price ratio offered by the Ford Mustang. The gentlemen at Wolf Racing will let those performance figures come under our control for the sum of 94,440 euros, a figure that seems high if we compare it with the just over 49,000 euros the standard GT variant costs, but which drastically sets it apart from vehicles of similar power, such as the Lamborghini Aventador S.
