The Hennesey Venom F5 Revolution adds more excitement to an impressive track-focused model

The most radical version of the Hennesey Venom F5 arrives to show that a supercar can be capable of thrilling on track thanks to its changes.

If you’re interested in track-focused supercars, you’ll surely already know the Hennesey Venom F5. But the Texas-based company, United States, has wanted to go one step further and has presented the Hennesey Venom F5 Revolution, a lighter version with better aerodynamics than the model it is based on. And this variant has already been put to the test and has lapped the circuit, proving it is much more than its predecessor.

The regular model is capable of reaching 483 km/h, a milestone that almost pushed it to 500 km/h and makes it a true track beast. This variant keeps the same 6.6-litre twin-turbocharged Fury V6 engine, which delivers 1,842 CV of power and a peak torque of 1,617 Nm. All of this is sent to the rear axle through a single-clutch automated gearbox.

The ceramic brakes are standard and feature multi-piston calipers. This helps reduce speed without losing power, and the car can regain momentum smoothly. All of this, combined with a lower vehicle weight of just 1,360 kg, means its speed is maintained while control is superior. The top speed will reach 480 km/h, although it is possibly electronically limited to 402 km/h.

Better aerodynamics

Aerodynamics have been improved in this version, making the vehicle easier to control and improving its performance. The most visible feature of this version is the large rear wing, made of carbon fibre. It is adjustable and can provide up to 636 kg of downforce at 299 km/h, reaching 635 kg at 401 km/h.

The front diffuser has been redesigned and canards have been added in front of the front wheels. All of this benefits the car in terms of aerodynamics. In addition, there is an air intake on the roof to cool the engine, making it even more practical.

Only 24 units of this track-focused supercar will be built, at an approximate price of 2.7 million dollars. This places it around 600,000 dollars above the standard version of the model and slightly below the roadster version, which reaches 3 million dollars.
